I watched it with an open mind and have never seen her act before. One thing guys don't like about female comics is that they will play the gender card, and she does, but I don't mind if it's funny and /or true.
The gender card doesn't bother me. I've just never found her funny. She's a Sarah Silverman wannabe, IMO.

And he kept doing that stupid laugh. Hell, Larry the Cable Guy only does "git er done" once, early, to get it out of the way. I really don't like comics dependent on schtick.
If I hadn't disliked him before the McDonald's commercial, his mispronunciation of "bacon" would have done it.

Triple Frontier, Netflix, was OK but with Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam and Oscar Isaac, I would have expected better. I am not very critical of stuff on Netflix because I look at the value, number of shows/investment and what did I expect for a quarter?

Guess I'll watch The Dirt tonight but I wasn't a fan of Motley Crue or the band members back then and this doesn't look like this is going to change that. So, you're band full of aholes and decide to reveal that? What's the purpose? That would be like Boll Cosby writing a book "While You Were Sleeping".

I'd never watched her before and tried that Leather Special last night and dumped out about 15 minutes in, didn't even crack a smile and the facial expressions made me want to slap her like Moe beatin' on Curly. However, this latest one was much mo bettah.

Does it have subtitles and do they speak Murican? I dig me some Italian crime movies but I can't read and watch, that's pushing the multi-tasking limit for me, I can do one or the other. I could watch it all the way through and then go back and re-watch and just read the subtitles and try and piece it together but then that would involve a third task, thinking, and I am just not up to all three at once.

Watched Ken Jeong's standup last night and that was a wasted hour. I am not a hard audience but I didn't even smile once and gave up 3/4 through it. I did not know he was actually a MD before becoming an actor but he needs to stop holding onto The Hangover. He wasn't that great a character in it.
Agreed. Terrrrrrriiiibbbblee

It always gets me watching kids grow up onscreen. I wonder if this group of young folks will have a similar run together like the Harry Potter cast?
Is it bad that I wasn’t fan of the trailer? I always liked the fall feel they had in the first two seasons. Oh well I guess im being an old man

It's all subtitles but well worth it. One of the best crime shows I've ever watched.

I kinda hope they are growing past the Halloween atmosphere the first two seasons had. Fear should not be tied to only one section of the calendar. The question is whether they can develop the same suspense for a summer setting? I am betting they can.

The Killing Netflix. Awesome show. Based out of Seattle. Crime drama. Also , Broadchurch Netflix. British crime drama. Could’ve ended it after one season but went three. Liked it overall.

Watched the Dirt today. Not a Motley fan but did enjoy the movie.

Will say if your fan of bare women's breasts and are too embarrassed to go to certain sites to see them there are plenty in the first 30-45 minutes.

Looks like Apple is going to be added to the thread title after they announce today as well as Disney. This is really getting interesting to see how Disney and Apple will affect movie streaming and Disney shifting the Marvel content to Hulu makes them more of a player. They put Daredevil and Punisher there and I'm in.

The impact is already being felt in Hollywood with the mass firing of Fox Film employees and shutdown of Fox 2000 by Disney after the takeover because those people were working in an industry of shrinking opportunities.

I do wonder about the future of movie theaters and will that only be about the big cinematic's that need to be seen in that environment? The average family's movie streaming bill could be $50 a month and for some that could mean sacrificing other entertainment.

I wasn't so sure about the guy from game of thrones playing mick mars, but he was the best one. The cast did a solid job and it brings you back a little. MM was apparently the only band member with some brains. Plus the Ozzy scene was hilarious. Overall very good movie. I read both books The Dirt and The Heroin Diaries and you don't have to be a Motley Crue fan to appreciate any of them. THD is still my favorite book. This was a good time period movie that captured it pretty well.
