Blokes and assorted rabble of the Metroplex and the Ozarks, why would we burden ourselves with expensive, quick fixes in , short-term FA for a so-so 2019 season?
The cap is finite, yes?
No, a thousand times no. ButLet scouting give us the young gems we can groom, ruffians of the gridiron!

You want expensive quick-fix FAs? This is no championship season, though we can dream of a Clemson QB in 2 years.
Fear the Cap!

I agree. Wed have to sign like 4-5 legit fa's imo to be sb faves.

No point in wasting time thinking of other QBs either.

*If* we see a number of pieces fall into place, then think about making a move. Until then, keep building value.

Because the front office has failed gambling on the likes of Taco, Gregory and Irving.

Even without expensive one year free agents, why does 2019 have to be so-so? We got to within 2 steps of the Super Bowl this past season. I would agree we weren’t truly ready to take the next step beyond that, but even without expensive free agents we will benefit from a full year of Cooper, the return of Frederick, and gained experience with Gallup, Conner Williams, Vander Esch, Jaylon Smith, Schultz, Chido and Xavier Woods. And, who knows, Kellen Moore may even add a little creativity to the offense.

How many years do the preseason favorites actually win the Superbowls? How good are the best odds?
