You guys keep rubbing your heads and being logical.

Look at our past when we draft in the 2nd Rd.

What do we do?

We look for somebody who has dropped out of the 1st Rd. due to injury, moral deficiency, or failed a drug test or 3.

Players like Gregory, Smith or a bargain player is our man.

Frankly..

BPA is the best route to avoid failure in this draft.

There is not a position we can not stand more depth.

Or revert to our standby of Play by Committee.

Need a DE..draft 4 of them like when we rebuilt the secondary a couple of years back.

Need a safety..committee.

Having domestic issues.?

We are your team.

Now..go figure out the committee and where.

That is the real draft strategy.

Now get to it.

A few years back, I would have agreed with you, but the past few years have gone differently. The past two years, the team stayed with safe, smart picks. Chidobe Awuzie in 2017, and Conner Williams in 2018. No injury risks, no character risks, just good, smart value.

I think Jerry had been indulged in years past, and it seemed like round 2 was the old man's to play around with, and that's when we got the wheeling and dealing like with Lawrence and Morris Claiborne, or injury risks like Bruce Carter, Sean Lee, and Jaylon Smith, or the type of risk that Randy Gregory brought. But that hasn't been the case as of late.

My Philosophy and it's been working draft most worthy most deserving. You're dressed for need you get burned Claiborne LOL best available. While we don't need any more wide receivers so what if that was the case. I'm drafting most Worthy. That's a combination of all three. Talent need character

While I do think they will take a player that seems to have fallen further than expected, I highly doubt it will be one that may miss time this season due to a current injury. Without a 1st rounder, they have to draft someone in the 2nd that can be on the field in some capacity to start the season.

That does not apply to the past 2 drafts...

We need a defensive tackle in the worst way. I don't know if one of quality will drop down the second round I don't know who the most worthy player will be this season. Only draft day will tell

I think you're confusing Jerry and Jimmy. Jimmy said that.

Jerry said it on Jimmy's boat after conversing with Kraft Patriots owner. I don't think Jimmy would draft a dumb player in the first place

I have been proven wrong thank you. Don't get old. Totally recall from the old forum everyone said Jerry said it. Just show you don't believe everything you hear

Still takes some chances....

Jaylon with the injury. Good choice that paid off.

Collins.. facing double murder. Was cleared. Not the best but not to shabby.

Lewis.. had legal issues but was found not guilty. Not bad but to be determined still.

It was such a long time ago. When it first came out the news. I'm not sure people knew who exactly said it. The videos don't lie
