Connor Williams weight gain

Well not only that. He's been a weight room junkie before he ever came here.

Usually the guys that just explode in size in the weight room are the guys who never focused on it before.

So for a guy like him who has been in the weight room like he has before coming to Dallas and adding 10 lbs of pure muscle since January seems unlikely unless he took some special vitamins.

He may be up 10 lbs but it being pure muscle is probably just one of those things people say as if it were true. 3 lbs of pure muscle would be quite an accomplishment in this time frame.

Not really, I train without the juice and can add lean muscle quickly. If he improved his nutrition and trained to add lean mass this can be accomplished without the juice.

He may have trained before he was drafted but NFL trainers will specifically focus on his needs at the next level, it is not the same thing as what Connor was doing before to be sure, including his nutrition.

Most people know this however why wait till his 2nd season ? Should have done this last offseason.

There is only so much time a player has in the offseason. If "most people know", they wouldn't have given him crap all last season and understood.

Hopefully it was done naturally..

That guy could weigh 330lbs....and I still wouldn't want him. I just don't think he is a very smart football player. Does dumb things....technique breaks down far too often. Poor balance. Weak...both physically and mentally.

Funny how we went on a win streak as soon as he was out of the lineup...but as soon as he was back in...we get beat in the playoffs. That was no coincidence.

With him adding muscle and Fredrick coming back this line could become dominant again.
Just in time play along s

Really hoping we can get the hardware with this line soon. If not then it will be known as one of the best lines that went to waste.

I think it should be a team policy to cut every rookie that doesn't make the Pro Bowl.

Williams wasn't far off last year. He needs to play with great technique and he usually does. However, rookie OL generally struggle a bit. We got really spoiled seeing Martin and Fred come in and not have any issues.

He was much better when he came back after the Sua-Filo injury.

I'm not worried about LG with CW, Sua-Filo and Looney all on the roster.

I would be interested to see CW practice at OT just in case.

Hope he puts on more weight than that before TC. He needs some fat also. I know the TC now a days don’t compare to some years back but I remember some of these O-Linemen would lose 5-10 pounds a day. Some had a problem keeping there weight up. Some was water weight they were loosing.

Definitely needs to get comfortable there also.

10 pounds on a guy that weighs 300 is like 6 pounds on a guy that weighs 200. Doing it in two months isn't really an explosion.

We also don't know that is really muscle, it may be mostly fat and half of that may disappear the next time he drops a deuce.

My hope is Joe Looney and Connor have a legit competition and that Frederick is back and healthy.

Joe Looney can play and i'd hate to lose another superior player like we did with Ron Leary.
