I think you could very realistically replace him with a top 10 draft pick in this class, with a nearly as productive dude on a 5 year cost-controlled contract.

Which is why it isn't going to happen.

Seriously though, I prefer to keep proven productive talent over gambling on draft picks, but there are some frickin' studs in this class who could easily become double digit NFL sackers.

If a team wants to trade for a Franchised player that means they'll give the player the contract he is seeking. The player would sign the tag to facilitate the trade.
