For all of the back and forth on paying Lawrence, the last thing I want to see these clowns do now I see to rush to pay Dak Prescott big money.

Don't talk about how your best, most proven defensive player needs to take one for the team and then rush to overpay a quarterback too much too soon.

If they do that crap? I'll root for them to fail.

what league have you been watching.

The one that needs desperately not to pay Kirk Cousins but pay his surrounding cast for the Vikes to really have a chance. Pay the cast and get a decent young QB in the draft to drive the bus Mark Sanchez style.

You only pay special QB's. Not Tannehill, Cousins, and the like.

if salary fitting into the team is true, i foresee upcoming issues in the near future with resigning dak, amari, jaylon, zeke and byron if he earns it this year.....

If you can't live on 20M per year maybe taking some finacial and accounting classes might be a wise investment.
I think it has much less to do with lifestyle than it does that Tank has put in the work and feels like he’s an elite player and wants his pay to reflect that.

Anyone who thinks Tank is a lazy guy only in it for the money needs to watch da film. His technique is immaculate and he hustles as hard as any DE you are going to see. Dude has worked hard to get to where he is at.

As far as Garrett, he's just stating the obvious.

Whoever doesn't think that Tank is in it primarily for the money needs to put down whatever then gave in their hand because that is some potent stuff

I'm glad they're holding the line and not going overboard as they did in the past, let's see if they do the same with Dak.

Give him 20 mil a year and let’s go
He’s not gonna play for what he got last year
If he wants much more than let his agent find a team that will pay it and we can make that happen for him

You don’t pay $20 million a year to a guy that put up 10.5 sacks in his prove it year.

I disagree. Most fans don’t care how much players make, except for the impact it has on the salary cap.

The actual amount of money doesn’t matter to most.

Players cared a helluva lot more about winning before the money got big like this. Now it's just a big fraternity of lottery-ticket millionaires. They just want to get the 16 games over with and go party. You can tell by all the camaraderie after games. Didn't used to be anything like that.

That is such BS

You've put your body on the line and earned a big pay day.

But you should care less about your salary and more about how much money the team is spending overall.

Would Garrett work for less than he is worth to benefit the team? Would the Jones's?

I agree with him. I have no doubt the Cowboys will make a legit offer making DLaw one of the highest paid at his position but same will be said for Zeke and Cooper and Dak will be looking around 20 to 25 mill a year

Scottie Pippen, Alan Iversion, Antoine Walker, Lenny Dykstra, and Terrell Owens could have used that class.

They're trying to give Lawrence $50 million dollars guaranteed. How much do you think they should pay him?
