Not until he uses his legs more.

His mobility is his biggest strength and the team along with his refusal to run at times hurts our offense.

How many 3rd downs could he have picked up this past season had he just tucked it and ran?

His arm talent is mediocre.. Run.

My pet cat is Gallup.

My pet cat prediction:

This kid will explode onto the scene this year. THis is the season when people will begin to realize what a steal he was at his drafted slot.

And if that comes to pass, the rest of the passing game will gin like crazy.
I know Dak & Gallup had a few mis-ques, but he looks like the real deal.

Dak has everything to prove this year... TFred is back, his BFF is now OC, he has some new toys to play with, and the D should be a top 10 unit.

Last year was a jekyll and hyde year. There were games the offense was anemic— and there were times the 2016 formula was in effect (after Coops arrival)

Bottom line: no excuses. He needs to deliver us a NFCC and SB berth to put the doubters to rest and earn his mega deal.

That won't do it either.....will then hear how any QB could've done it with this much talent. The standards his haters have set are at least two SBs, maybe more.

He's a QB. You don't win by having the QB "run more".

So he read defenses perfectly for a year and a half, then somehow forgot at the exact same moment his OL went to spit.

Interesting theory, and Dak was pressing at times, but that doesn't hold up.
There's been plenty of video's out there showing open receivers and Dak just not seeing them or not trusting his arm. You act like I'm making this up brother. Hell, I want him to be great, reading Defenses could just be an experience thing, but he's not a rock star at it.

He definitely misses passes and he definitely presses when he has 2 seconds or less to pull the trigger. But he improved on the second part as last season when on.

My point is that you never heard a peep about this in his first year and a half when he had time to throw and his OL was healthy. All of the "he can't read defenses" comments started when he had 2 seconds or less to pass. You only get one read in those situations and a high school kid can show tape of a WR breaking open at the split second he is moving away from pressure and about to get hit.
