Would anyone be mad with CB at 58

seeing how Richard has been scouring CBs and no huge holes anywhere on the roster, I think CB like Williams from Vanderbilt or Johnson from Houston may be the pick st 58.

Gives a second long CB next to Byron for 2019 and replaces him in 2020

I would be annoyed with a CB at 58. I wouldn’t mind it as much in 3. I wouldn’t mind taking 2 CB’s 4-7 to be groomed up for the future. My top targets at 58 are S and TE. At 90 I would like TE at DT.

I like Julian Love there, but don’t know if he has the length DAL wants at CB

Yes.

We've already ignored the deep DL draft once, and it cost us dearly. Doing so again would be monumentally dummm.

This...

We’ve got one of the most talented CB groups we’ve had in years.

Yes. Would be 5th on depth chart. He won't see the field this year. At least a DT is rotated often in this scheme....or a S likely to be more talented than anything we have....

Dude, thank Gawd you aren’t picking for us. I will be PISSED if we go TE at 58.

Written is 37 and we were awful in the red zone last year. With our talent at WR would be nice to have a TE to make defenses nervous down the seam. Wittens 4.9 speed doesn’t.

Pick 58 is the best opportunity they have to get a player that can make an immediate impact this year so I would doubt they would take a CB that won't see the field much this year. But I do expect to take a CB in the 3-4 round range.

It would have to be a first round talent that fell and even then it would be considered a wasted redundant pick..

Awuzie
Jones
Lewis (Starter quality but 1in too short for Richie)
Brown

All capable starters on any team for at least half the league, and many of which would be upgrades for a lot of them...

The only logic would be to replace Byron with a Ritchie clone for next year..

I’d be annoyed if we didn’t go 1-Tech, 3-Tech, or Safety at 58 but again IF somebody fell and he was Pure BPA, I wouldn’t be mad...

What if they draft a CB and then flip either Lewis or Brown for a 5th rounder or a player like Duke Johnson

Very slim chance you get a player of Lewis / Browns caliber in the 5th round or later.

Brown being as good as he is when he was taken is not the norm.

I see both being there in the 3rd round if not later.
