Why do people keep saying the rams game was some fluke anomaly? Except for the 2016
Season , the cowboys have given up over 200 yards rushing at least once a year going as far back as 2013.the guy whose scheme was exploited in the rams game is still coaching for the cowboys.
It was almost 100 yards more than the next high run game against us.
Last time we gave up in the 270s was 2012.
The Rams said they had figured out our tells on defense.
Statistical outlier with an explanation on the mechanism for how that outlier came to be.
So it wasn't a *fluke*. There was a *reason*.
It is considered an anomaly in that it isn't considered indicative of the quality of our players, and it *should* be unacceptable for a DC to get out prepared like that.
But if nothing changes in how our coaches coach, it *shouldn't* be considered an anomaly, it should be considered a pattern of coaching failure.
Marinelli also got pantsed in the GB playoff loss. Marinelli gonna Marinelli and get pantsed.
Is Garrett gonna Garrett and do nothing to correct Marinelli's obvious coaching failure? Since Garrett failed to notice Marinelli's abject failure in the GB loss, and never corrects his own coaching failures either, no one should expect a correction. Garrett gonna Garrett.
A lot of people are all hepped up on mortgaging the future and winning NOW.
It's a pipe dream with this coaching staff. Garrett is a gameday liability all year long. Marinelli is a game prep liability come the playoffs. It's *conceivable* they could get their heads out of their ***** tomorrow, but there's no reason to consider it remotely likely. They is what they is.
Mortgaging the future to bet on Garrett and Marinelli taking us to the promised land? Way to piss away the progress we've made building a young, quality team.
