Will Dak end up being the greatest QB in Cowboys history? This guy, who seems to be a Romo homer, seems to think Dak will end up being just that. He makes some very valid points in this vid to include QB comparisons to Romo, Aikman and comparisons of current QBs since Dak has been in the NFL. Take a look and then share your thoughts.

Whoever said this and agree with it should get themselves into drug rehab.

The article TITLE asks if Dak IS the greatest quarterback in Cowboys history, but the actual article asks whether Dak could END UP as the greatest Cowboys quarterback.
Big difference.

Could Dak win 7 SBs and pass Brady? Possibly, who'd have thought Bradshaw and Montana could win 4 early in their career? Bradshaw was 8-13 his first two seasons, hardly as good as Dak, 20-10 in his first two seasons. I bet, in fact I remember well, that a LOT of people were saying Bradshaw was a bust, a waste, "trash", just like some say about Dak.

Who thought Brady would win 6? That seemed so out of reach until just a few years ago, but it's happened.

MOST thought Tiger would never win another major, but he did it, didn't he?

The article is probably meant to be pro Dak, but it's all supposition, just something thrown out there for discussion, no need to get all fired up about....

You must be joking.
Rodger
Craig
Dandy Don
Danny
Troy
Tony.
All before Dak

Who in the blue hell is "Rodger"?
Craig Morton!?! Really? He shouldn't even be on the list.
Watch the Colts v. Cowboys SB.

You've got three-time NFC Championship loser, Danny White in
front of three time SB winner, Troy Aikman.

If it was wasn't April 16th...I'd swear it was April 1st.

Go Cowboys!

On here, until he wins a SB you won't get away with comparing him to Romo and until he wins 4 you won't get away with comparing him to Aikman. No amount of SB wins will make him as good as Staubach.
No one knows that. Records are broken all the time in the sports world as new and better athletes compete. Staubach wouldn't last in today's NFL. Just as Petty wouldn't win in today's NASCAR with that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang of his.

Super Bowls really don't prove a point pertaining on the strength and capability of a teams quarterback. Eli won two due to Manningham in one and Tyree's helmet catch in another. Let's not forget KC Kyle William's who fumbled for the Gnats to advance in Eli's first SB appearance.

What's more, the greatest quarterback's IMO don't need to win a Superbowl. Being in the Hall Of Fame is certainly more of an accomplishment than a ring. The Hall judges the athletes personally, as to where the Superbowl judges the team.

Tarkenton, Marino, Kelly & Moon never won that ring, but their the greatest because their in the Hall.

Ask yourself this. How great is Carson Wentz? After all, he has a ring. o_O

Most people had Marino easily over Elway until those two late titles. Unfortunately, public perception clouds most people's judgment when it comes to rating players.

Dan Fouts was better than Terry Bradshaw

Morton was a very good QB.

I understand. I know he was a 1st round pick, and had a good career,
but all I can remember is the interception against the Colts and him
getting knocked out of the SB with Denver.

Maybe if we weren't royally screwed out of the Colts SB, I'd have a different view.
However, duly noted, ksk.

I think he had several injury issues also and trouble staying on the field. However, w/ Staubach on board, he was never going to start anyway.

Don't count him out but he has a very long road to go. Even if not, he can still have a very good career and win us a few super bowls.
