It's interesting that DAK has found success when other guys went down injured.

This goes back to his high school playing days and into college and now the pros.

I guess he is what you would call ''''opportunistic".

As Steven Jones once said, "you cant make the club in the tub"!!!

Sometimes being the one guy that can stay healthy pays benefits, especially at the QB position.

I guess I'm kinda missing something here...……...I get what Dak is saying about people doubting him, he was a 4th round pick afterall.

However, isn't this dude Murray suppose to be the number one overall pick? How exactly are the situations similar? Maybe some people have questioned his size, but he is pretty much the consensus number one overall pick. How exactly does that mean you are being doubted?

I got no problem with the video, I actually think its a nice gesture from Dak. I just dont quite get how the situations are similar, not when Murray is most likely being drafted number one overall and Dak was a 4th rounder.

Dak is a Master of Public relations!!!! Wish is arm talents we're as good. He will use everything under the sun including his family to promote his image and have the masses like him. Hey Dak how about playing like a franchise QB and leave the PR to the Mad Men on Netflix....

I get it and feel it's a reach at the same time.

Almost every prospect gets doubted at some point in the process.
Especially QBs due to how important their position is and how much the college game is different than the NFL. Spread, one read offenses and gaps in talent, makes it tougher to determine which QB can actually make the step up. And that's ignoring the personal side of the QB, like his work ethic and his want to actually get better and not be a Jay Cutler.

Murray is going as high as #1 OA. The same doubts that Murray had, don't really apply to what Dak went through.

If Murray was 5 inches taller, he would be the slam dunk 1st OA, no questions asked. But since he's a midget in NFL standards for a QB, the questions will come, especially when he's a mobile QB and his true weight has come into question.

He weighed in at 207 at 5’10”1/8 at the combine. That’s not skinny. His height has been the biggest issue that’s drawn the most concern. When you listen to the video, Dak talks about how he was doubted. The doubts about Dak had nothing to do with his height or weight. It was his ability they doubted. No one is doubting Murray’s ability which is why he’s projected to go #1 overall.
It’s not his skill. It’s his height like you said. If he was 6’4 no question he is the first pick. The doubt comes from his size.

Yup he has one first round playoff win in 3 seasons. That used to be mocked around here now we act like this noodle arm is the GOAT
How many did Romo have in 13 years and y’all won’t let him go lol.....and noodle arm? You are the only person I’ve heard call him a noodle arm. When did this happen?

Agree
No one is doubting the football skills of Murray
Dak is just trying to get attention

there is nothing wrong with the video message dak like to do lots of those kind of things but the cowboys were so enamored with him they tried to trade back into the first and fourth rounds to get different qb's if he can get his team to a nfc championship game or the superbowl he will be looked at a lot differently but until he does win more than a wild card game this is what it is Romo couldn't win a divisional playoff game either so there is that

Seeing that the video was produced by the NFL to promote the draft, it was probably also the idea and scripted by the NFL. It's not Dak trying to get attention, it's the NFL generating attention, it's what they do. Using a Cowboy is always good for marketing.

The doubt for Murray is not in the same ball park as the doubts that they had for Prescott. All 32 teams agree Murray is a 1st round prospect and all 32 agreed that Prescott was a 4th rounder or later.

I don't get why he even broached the subject. Is there any connection between the two? Or is this an ego stroke that Prescott is giving himself? What's the purpose of even recording that for a player that's probably going #1 overall, unless that is self-serving?
