I very much doubt that it is much more than league minimum...so minimal cap impact. Pre back injury Jernigan was very good...now?

It’s more so based on the fact, they had little to no cap room and signed whomever they wanted effortlessly. I’m sure it’s a minor contract.

Eagles cap will be an issue for them in a couple of years. Howie keeps kicking the can down the road and hopes it will not bite him in butt. For instance they did resign Jernigan reportedly for 1 yr cheap. However they still have $6M is dead money for when they cut him earlier.

What, you don't like our weapons on offense? We will draft a rb to spell Zeke. Last year Rod Smith backed him up. Smith sucked.

Unless we take a TB in Rd 2 or even 3, which would be stupid, any TB we draft is not going to scare anyone. He’s going to just be a guy to take 5-6 carries a game.

That was there anyway. If they in fact got him back for cheap, it's still to their credit.

While "we like our guys". Who got run over for 278 yards in the playoffs...

Yep it was still on the books. My comment was more about how Howie is kicking the can down the road and how his decisions impact the cap going forward. IIRC Howie traded a 3rd pick for Jernigan 2 yrs ago. So Howie ultimate create $6M in dead cap space and lost a 3rd pick. The fact they resigned him for cheap does not erase the previous trade that ultimately created negative cap space.

It amazes me how we struggle with the cap yet certain other teams know exactly how to manipulate it to their benefit.

I know Night has alluded to this as well

Ehhhh. Their ticket to the Superbowl just signed with Jacksonville. Soon, they will be giving a massive contract to sir gets-hurt-alot and that tight cap space will blow up on them.
