I am NOT suggesting he is a bust, but I didn’t think he was that great last year at G for a second rounder. I think he is better suited to play OT, and I hope he plays great regardless of where they play him.

Having said that, he seems to not have enough strength to play G, and he may have some challenges at T.

I think he’s a 50/50 player to “make a hand” at one position or the other. That’s not great odds, compared to how spoiled we have been at drafting OL over the past several years.

Heck, fans expects each player to be first team all-pro. I guess Connor does-not get a pass. The kid would play 40+ snaps and play average or dominate and have one poor play against a savvy veteran and then get dogged by irrational fans.

Seriously, he has a year under his belt and a complete season dedicated to learning the craft of football. He will be better with his leverage and strength. If Frederick is the starter Connor will look even better. I think Fredbeard does a great job at calling blocking schemes and blitz pick-up. Barring injury, the line will be back to elite. If not we will be singing the blues all night. I guess that's how we "Jingle and Go."

I cooked Redbean Jambalaya with sausage for my grandson and listened to Ryan Bingham's new album. Took him to Bingham's concert last week and he can't put down the guitar. My grandson is 7 and we love strumming and singing. We played "Jingle and Go" and "Bread & Water" tonight. My fingertips are sore as heck now.

I wait for year 3 to call busts...

Taco looks like a bust... we even traded for and drafted 3 more guys. That tells me everything I need to know about their confidence in the breakfast meal

I think its silly to think a 2nd round pick rookie would come in and be great. Especially without Frederick next to him.

Have you read the off season reports on him?

Because it doesn't seem you have.
