Prescott has so many intangibles like toughness, heart, smarts, and leadership. If his physical abilities continue to grow to match his intangibles, it is going to be a huge bargain.

His team mates will run through a wall for him, he is clutch as all hell, and he’s an extremely hard worker. Not to mention that he’s a winner and always has been.

I’m ready for it to get done.

Absolute fair question and my answer are both, which solidifies their desire to keep him. Other words, you can't have on without the other and want him as your long-term starter. Even w/o the market, no team wants a starting QB they can't win with.

He’s barely a top ten QB, if that. And the only reason this team is thinking of paying a QB of that caliber Top 3-4 money is because they are bowing to the market.

I think it’s stupid as is the logic that hey, it’s Ok to sign him to a huge contract now because it won’t be a top 3-4 contract in 4 years.

But it seems destined to happen so it is what it is.

If the market says he is worth 30 million, then that means another team would be willing, and you could also get a few very good picks. When the market is inflated you milk what you can out of it and let others overpay.
