Wentz - If Wentz was able to stay healthy and if he produced like he did prior to getting hurt in 2017 then his salary would be much higher than $30 million a year. Right now his contract demands would have to be lowered from the $35 million a year that Wilson received because he only performed at an MVP level for 12 games in 2017 and due to his injury history.
Dak - Dallas would probably like to pay Dak around $25 million a year. However, how he performed in 2016 and the last half of 2018 has raised his stock. His rise in stock based on 2016 and the end of last year plus the current inflation of QB salaries puts his asking price around $30 million. Plus, I think the front office sees that Dak has not tapped out his potential or hit his ceiling. He is still a young player that is growing and learning under a lot of pressure.
Also, you do know that Wentz is still not practicing? This stress fracture in his back took him out of action over 5 months ago. Also, when he was in the lineup for the Eagles last year he was 5-6 as a starter. Nick Foles had to come in and salvage their season. There is no doubt in my mind that the Eagles' miss the playoffs if Wentz remained their starter last year.
