If true...$34 million!

Oh my dayz.

More than Aaron Rodgres and Russell Wilson.

It would basically give us this season before we would be screwed for a long, long time.

What a waste given the quality and talent of the overall roster.

Hope so. I'm actually more concerned about having a better Dak than how rich he gets. I want the Cowboys to become a legitimate force in the NFL and having a legit quarterback goes a long way in making that happen, if Dak's the guy I'm okay with the cost of doing business. The losses are still going to hurt no matter how much he's paid:)

As am I. Im not fussed by the money as I won't see any of it. I just hope that he improves as the reports say he is.

The Eagles did not overpay. In most articles I’ve read, Wentz jumped at the offer and took less than he could have gotten. It is structured nicely for the Eagles.
The reality was that he would have been the regular season MVP in 2017 had he played one more game.

He wouldn't have played the last game any way to avoid injury.

What are you, snuggle buddy with the other blabber mouth? That's the way it was in the old boards. I find it very hard to believe you never ventured over there when it was open. Ask any other old member that's not biased, an overwhelming majority supported Romo's last franchise record contract.
I know, "he said she said" - but proof, nope none of that.

Another week and yet another desparate attempt by Daks agent to ask for loads of money. I think the only people talking to Daks agent are the press. Are the Cowboys even responding to calls?

Dak wont even be on the roster in 2020 - the incoming HC will choose his own QB.

Standard procedure for negotiating a contract, ask for more than you'll take, doesn't mean he's set on that amount or even that he thinks he's worth it.

We can do nothing except wait and see, and like it or hate it, whatever transpires...

get him signed, I just don't want it to be oppressive to putting a team on the field - we have a lot of youngens (especially on D) that will be coming up soon, not to mention zeke and coop

He is wanting SB QB caliber money. No. Maybe next year when the market value is 34. Lol.

He is going to be better this year than last because the team around him is going to be better. Let him play out his rookie deal.

And if he gets better, say wins two playoff games, then it's going to cost more than $34 million. In a couple of years Mahomes will be up for a contract extension, and if he continues as he's done, he'll be in the $40 million range, and Dak can reasonably ask for $36-38 million. Of course, if he doesn't get better the Cowboys can maybe get him for $32 or so, but there's risks either way...

I don’t think they jump at 34. It’s a negotiating tactic. Cowboys have said they’re resigning him and want him a cowboy for life. So why not shoot for the money with 34 million per? They’ll work out something lower...

That website no longer exists. Been shut down for 3 years now. No way to get your "proof" when the website no longer exists. You'll have to take my word for it.
