Bottom line Stash is that its a good problem to have, meaning that quality depth allows flexibility, and sets the stage for a very interesting camp.
Competition across the OL, WR, positions during camp will be especially entertaining and intriguing this year. .

No arguments there.

If their scouting department was as right as they seem to think, the depth and competition at many position groups will be fierce. During post-draft conversations, they talked about having been able to acquire something like 15 draftable players on their board. That list included undrafted free agents in Mitch Hyatt, Daniel Wise, Chris Westry, and I believe both of the receivers Johnson and Guyton. If they're right - and recent history of success in the draft supports that, this team got deeper, even younger, and more talented.

Glad to see everyone healthy so far and having some quality depth at O-Line. Last year was crazy losing our center like that. Looney did a great job but he isn’t Fredbeard. Aren’t they saying he will be ready for camp...

By all indications, Fredbeard is ready to go.

Him and apparently Williams putting on size are good signs. I think another of our monsters was battling a knee issue that should be healed up.

Yep, Elliot if not suspended should have a huge year.

This entire offense should have a big year. No excuses if they don't in my opinion. And if it somehow underperforms, hang the coaches.

I think the rope is already around JG neck with no extension. I wonder what the team would have to pull off for him to keep his job.

I am expecting better than last year which put us further than we have been in years. But it’s a long season. I wish it would start already.

What a remarkable change from last year's WR by committee and concerns with the offensive and defensive lines. Now, there appears to be both healthy competition and competent depth at these positions.

I agree, I think it's Conference Championship or Bust.

The turnover and overall improvement at receiver has been truly remarkable in my opinion, and I think the organization truly deserves praise for what they have been able to accomplish. In the span of roughly one calendar year, they've gone from Dez Bryant (who nobody wants), Terrance Williams (who nobody wants) and Cole Beasley (exiled to Buffalo) to Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and Randall Cobb. And this doesn't even take into consideration the depth provided by Austin, Hurns, and one of several young receivers.

I feel exceptionally good about this group at this point.

It’s gonna hinge on our Defense taking the next step. Our Offense should be more potent than last year. Our Defense can’t let us down like the rams game. I know it’s a team game and our Offense had a few stalled drives but that D-Line let us down.

McClay is such an integral part of this franchise.
Even UDFAs are interesting.

Looking forward to the threads relating to this start popping up once we enter camp phase, and actually see speed with pads... love this young talented WR group.

Have to eliminate the predictability and tells. If they can't do that, the player talent won't matter.

Same here. I think the competition for roster spots will be fierce and there are some names like Austin, Brown, and Hurns that will be in for a tough fight to keep their jobs.

What amazed me is that the rams are the only team that figured that out. Guessing all teams will be in on seeing it now. Marinelli and Richard are gonna have to change a few things.

I'm most interested to see what Mitch Hyatt can do here. It still shocks me that the four year starting left tackle for a two-time National Champion could go undrafted. I think they'd really like him to be their swing tackle of the future and make Fleming expendable..

Certainly Marinelli, those 'Rushmen" are his pride and joy, and they got shredded. The Colts dominated them as well, and that needs to change.

Off field problems or maybe injuries. Must be a reason. Hope he can make the transition to the NFL. I am pumped about a few players this year.
