I feel the same way. I think he's a good kid overall, but enough of the nonsense already. I don't want to see my favorite team's seasons totally screwed up because one guy makes dumb decisions. And I don't want to pay him tops at his position to roll those dice.

Hard to say until we see how Elliott fits into Moore's play calling. If he's going to used as he has been, no, do not need an A back with the money going to other players. However, if he were to be used more like Kamara, like Fred Taylor and Marshall Faulk used to be used, then his value to the offense is magnified.

The challenge is that no team is building a successful offense around the RB. Gurley is the closest thing to that and we've seen the danger in that and if you think Elliott is going to catch some sideline with that running style, think again.

Then there's the issue of his thinking. I think he is with the best team of the 32 to get a deal along with the off the field questions so there is that.

The question of is Elliott expendable can't be answered until you tell me what other players do we lose by baying him 15M. If paying him means they have to let Lord Byron walk, that is a mistake in my opinion. Good cover corners are a necessity to today's game, great RB's are not. Ther's not a RB in the game worth 15M if that means the team has to give up a good D starter.

That said, it doesn't matter and is a moot point because this GM is a follow the ball one and thinks those rings were all about the triplets and he thinks he's got another set with these three.
