What the he**. Rowdy and Mickey got screwed again. Where's the justice?
The truth hurts doesn't it.Which one of you Dak detractors is actually Pete Prisco?
Everyone likes to take a shot that can. its all good.Pete who?
IMO, yes he is.Is Jaylon better than LVE at this point?
Cowboys had 2nd most with 7 players behind the Chargers who had 8.
16. Ezekiel Elliott
26. DeMarcus Lawrence
46. Zack Martin
58. Tyron Smith
80. Jaylon Smith
85. Byron Jones
99. Travis Frederick
Just missed: Leighton Vander Esch

excellent question. I would say its a dead heat based on last year but as the experience grows it would seem LVE would pull away. If we could insert Sean's smarts & instincts into them ....Is Jaylon better than LVE at this point?
Nope, incorrect. I would suck at making this list. I'd have Cowboys' practice squad guys on there and omit every Barkley, Jenkins, Collins and other NFC East rival lol. OBJ left the division and I'd leave him off the list as well. I carry a huge bias.I'm a biased Cowboys fan, so it's my duty to make some noise if my team is not represented well in lists like this.
Even though I realize every sports writer fancies himself/herself as an "expert" and basically pulls lists of players like this out of their behind. Any poster on this forum could do just as good a job making these rankings if we wanted to.
Why would it seem that LVE would pull away? I'm curious why you think that.excellent question. I would say its a dead heat based on last year but as the experience grows it would seem LVE would pull away. If we could insert Sean's smarts & instincts into them ....
I saw them as about even last year. But Jaylon has 3 years of being in a pro program & some playing time in 2017. Players usually make the biggest jump between 1st & 2nd year & I felt that LVE may have better instincts. Seemed like LVE might be due for more growth than Jaylon. Why would it seem that LVE would pull away? I'm curious why you think that.
Jaylon is faster 4.5 40 vs 4.65. He ran a 3.98 short shuttle, which is just flat out incredible. He's the better athlete compared to LVE (who is pretty darn good too). I just see Jaylon with a higher ceiling, more playmaking ability, etc.
Good points, but keep in mind that Jaylon was playing on a leg that, by many reports, was not 100% yet last year. You've got to think that when that leg is 100% he is the best defender on our team. I expect a jump in Jaylon's play this year as well. Dude is a heat seeking missile that will lay the wood. Either way, both Jaylon and LVE are all-pro talents, so we are splitting hairs.I saw them as about even last year. But Jaylon has 3 years of being in a pro program & some playing time in 2017. Dang straight. I'd have retired Cowboys' players on there before anyone else in the NFC East.Nope, incorrect. I would suck at making this list. This is correct. Dak is extremely underrated in the end of games.
In crunch time, I all of a sudden become very comfortable with Dak. You know he is going to drive down and win the game.
You have to laugh at these idiot writers who still think Cam is a name you can just easily lump together with Brady, Brees, Rodgers, et cetera. I’d definitely take Dak over Cam.Cowboys had 2nd most with 7 players behind the Chargers who had 8.
