Then you consider them more prolific passing QB’s was my original question I believe?

A nice, meaningless, grey description, completely based on opinion with nothing of substance.

And why you’re providing these stats to support your thoughts . That’s fine. I just don’t see dak as greater passer.

No, you clearly see what you choose to see, facts be damned. My thoughts have support in stats.

1. Patriots- Just because I always default to defending champs, and the Pats have proven to be worthy, even when the media says they’re less.

2. Rams. Stacked with talent and a helluva coach.

3. Chiefs - Just because Mahommes is a QB like Rodgers who can shoulder an entire load. Subject to change due to their defense.

4. Bears. As much as I hate to say it, that defense is balls to the wall good. Tribusky could pull a Goff in year 2.

5. Cowboys- It’s been awhile since we were able to talk about being fairly stacked. Here we are.
If we had one of the more Elite QB’s we’d be a favorite to go to Super Bowl. Instead we aren’t even a favorite to win our division.

I’d consider that using stats to support an opinion instead of trusting your personal instincts and evaluations.

Despite whatever personal stats I really doubt there’s many outside some Cowboys fans who'd say Dak was a more prolific passer than Wentz or Goff.

But from an overall roster standpoint strictly, with no emphasis on certain positions and coaching not included?
Honestly, with what we have in place. No excuses. We have a team that can do it all. Good QB, not great (still room to grow depending on a change to offensive philosophy to tap into what we do best), great RB, Fred back to hopefully get back to what we do best and solidify the O-line. LB’s and upgrade overall defensively with Quinn and the rest of the D from Hill at the forefront, to Xavier Woods taking the next step at S, with more time, we should be better than average. We were good last year. Can we be great and build on that, that says a lot about KR and Marinelli and what they can pull out of their ***!??

I don’t give 2 ***** about said schedule and how hard it’s said to be. That’s every year. It changes from game to game.

I wish I could do better at ranking, but as far as we go, excuses are gone! This is a team ready to compete barring major injuries to key slots. This is the best team I’ve seen in awhile. Many pundits are sleeping on the Cowboys b/c it’s based on past records. I get it.

This team is set. And as I’ve said before in past posts, Kellen Moore will either help, or hinder. I think he’s going to help us by at least 2 more wins. That’s huge.

11-5 to 12-4 is my guess with an appearance in the NFC Championship game for this year.

Let’s see ., where do I start.

We don’t get a 1st place schedule every year. Schedule does make a difference .

We aren’t even picked to win our division .Most handicappers have us anywhere from 4th to 7th in conference. Our over under on wins is 8 1/2.

A 22nd ranked offense and 15th ranked Qb is not set. But believe what you will. You’ll be looking for scapegoats when we don’t meet your expectations.

Where was that elite RB vs the Rams? If he would have showed up, maybe we'd have a chance to go to the SB in spite of our lack of run d.

Goff was only prolific in choking vs the Patriots.

How can a team be ranked 2nd in talent and be ranked 22nd in offense? Must be that shutdown defense?

The players are taking time off now, maybe these analysts should do the same? Who really cares what a former, very former, scout thinks about the talent on paper?

No shame in losing to the greatest defensive Guru of this era. Remember Bill shut down “ the Greatest Show on Turf” too. Goff proved his worth in reaching SB.

That’s fine . You’re certainly entitled to your opinions as long as they are presented as such. Go Cowboys!!

As long as Brady is playing New England should be #1.

The Cowboys are stacked this year, though, no doubt.

Brady doesn't make them the most talented team. What they are is the best coached and they have an all time great qb.

Goff was beyond bad. It's more on his decision making than what the Patriots did.

They shut him down and forced our QB to beat them. Which is a known recipe for success against us.
