Honestly, with what we have in place. No excuses. We have a team that can do it all. Good QB, not great (still room to grow depending on a change to offensive philosophy to tap into what we do best), great RB, Fred back to hopefully get back to what we do best and solidify the O-line. LB’s and upgrade overall defensively with Quinn and the rest of the D from Hill at the forefront, to Xavier Woods taking the next step at S, with more time, we should be better than average. We were good last year. Can we be great and build on that, that says a lot about KR and Marinelli and what they can pull out of their ***!??
I don’t give 2 ***** about said schedule and how hard it’s said to be. That’s every year. It changes from game to game.
I wish I could do better at ranking, but as far as we go, excuses are gone! This is a team ready to compete barring major injuries to key slots. This is the best team I’ve seen in awhile. Many pundits are sleeping on the Cowboys b/c it’s based on past records. I get it.
This team is set. And as I’ve said before in past posts, Kellen Moore will either help, or hinder. I think he’s going to help us by at least 2 more wins. That’s huge.
11-5 to 12-4 is my guess with an appearance in the NFC Championship game for this year.
