I'm guessing that both the Cowboys and the Eagles will have winning seasons this year with the Eagles enjoying an easier schedule. With that type of a scenario being the case, it seems we're at a disadvantage, although, if Wence's health betrays him to any noticeable degree, it'll hurt them. I wouldn't be surprised if either team makes the playoffs with the other failing to do so. This season honestly appears to be somewhat unpredictable, if nothing else.

Our schedules differ by only two games. With how teams rise and fall from year to year, the two second place teams from last year that Philly plays might actually be better than the two first place teams we play.

Each team in the NFL improves if they're proven fortunate in their changes. We'll only know once the results say so. We'll see. Let's also be aware that two games can easily make the difference between qualifying for the playoffs or not. Anything can happen.

I'll say 10 wins, no idea after that.

Pointless thread since the mods won't let anyone re-visit this thread after the season for whatever reason, I forgot what it was

7-9 new offensive coach, same HC, potential suspension for the teams best player, same dinker and lock on to first target QB until proven otherwise, no real back up QB to create valid pressure on incumbent, and worst of all the media is on board which typically ends in misery...hope I'm wrong

We're due for a bad season. Seems like we can't string back to back winning seasons. I think we can win 12 games and get to the championship game if Dak can handle the pressure of a new contract or the pressure of earning a new contract.

I'm betting on a team that dominates in black 'n blue December, and then pushes it's way to the NFC Championship Game. What? Lose then?:starspin:

Yes it can. The bottom line is I think we’re a better team than Philly. Whether that shows up during the season remains to be seen.

That's, undoubtedly, a pregnant idea! We'll leave no doubt if we win vs. a tougher schedule.

I'd say it's high time for the Cowboys to prove themselves the Beast of the Eastern Division.
Hats off to that, partner!! We'll either whip 'em fighting or be damned trying!! :starspin:

Tougher schedule this year. I do think they win the East at 10-6.

The bad part is they still have an early exit in the playoffs against the Rams again as Wade’s defense baffles the offense.

The good part is Garrett is shown the door. Just can’t see him lasting another year with anything less than a conference title game appearance.

10-6, Wild Card.
We win again in the wild card round, with this defense which I expect to be a notch better than last year, I think we may break through and get over the divisional round hump.
Still think we get knocked out in the NFC Title game.
Still, progress.
