Patrick Mahomes is favored to repeat the NFL's MVP, per the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas.

Mahomes leads the pack with 4-1 odds.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is followed 13 quarterbacks:

Aaron Rodgers - 8/1
Andrew Luck - 8/1
Carson Wentz - 10/1
Drew Brees - 10/1
Tom Brady - 12/1
Philip Rivers - 14/1
Russell Wilson - 14/1
Ben Roethlisberger - 25/1
Matt Ryan - 25/1
Baker Mayfield - 25/1
Jared Goff - 60/1
Cam Newton - 60/1
Matthew Stafford - 80/1

I'm not saying that Dak should be Top 10 on this list, but look at some of these names...Matt "I failed with a 25 point lead" Ryan, Cam "Thrown it up for grabs" Newton, and Matt "I never won anything and I'm overrated" Stafford? Ya think Dak could get at least 50-1 odds here? Oh yeah, more Media love for that guy in Philly too.
I'm not concerned with this - most on this list are on teams that live and die by the QBs arm, so those QBs are naturally in a better position to be MVP. With Dallas having a more balanced offense, if the team does well enough to have an MVP candidate, either Zeke will take more votes or there would be a split between Zeke and Dak so that neither could win the MVP award.

Yea but the bigger issue is this is a legit list. No reason to be upset over it. We don’t have one of the elite passers in the league. Nothing wrong with that. Some of the Slobbering daksters are just butthurt. Lol

All about the W's and then the stats. His RB gets better stats toward MVP voting than he does. This offense is not set up to get the QB in the MVP race.

How are you going to have a QB high on the preseason MVP race when he's defined as much by who's missing, Elliott and Cooper, as his own presence?

I agree but I also think Linehan deserves some of that blame
We’ll see. I hope you’re right but it’s tough having to downscale the play calling to fit the qb skill set. Maybe the Moore Experiment spread offense will open it up.

The Patriots gave the recipe on how to beat Mahomes, it's pressure up the middle it frustrates him. I don't think he'll be the same quarterback he was last season sophomore slump LMAO no one knows what he's going to do he still a rookie. And anyone who says different better not have said anything different about Prescott. LOL

Yea. Who cares if we have a MVP QB as long as we are hanging divisional banners. Lol

Wentz at 10-1? Lol....he'll be out with a pinkie injury by week 4, and there is no Foles to save the day this time.

Actually in my opinion and wasn't even Foles it was their special teams that took them to the Super Bowl

A Sports Book is not the media.

Vegas odds are set based on how they expect people to bet.

On a specific Cowboys game Vegas wants 50% of bets on the Cowboys to win and 50% on them to lose.
That is how they determine the points spread.
If all the bets were on the Cowboys to win, then
Vegas loses big money if the Cowboys lose.
At 50-50, Vegas wins with no risk.
