Let me start by saying I am not a fan of Lavar nor do I hate him, he's a character which is why he gets air time but, Is this for real? You would think LaVar asked her to come on over and sit on Daddys lap and talk about the first thing that popped up. I mean honestly, is this something that needs to become a big deal. I love how BSPN reacted to, so harshly. "at this time we will no longer have Lavar on the show". at this time as in a month or two suspension because we are ratings ******.

SMH. Welcome to 2019, where any friendly, playful statement to an attractive woman is now an instantaneous assault of her karma and character.

If Molly pushed for LaVarr's ban from ESPN, she should really re-evaluate her role in sports media. He's an all-time idiot, but there isn't anything here to warrant a character attack on him for this crap.

None of his kids are becoming Cowboys. I am a Maverick and a NBA fan but I could care less about anything that LaVar has to say. There is nothing news worthy about his opinion but for whatever reason sports shows like First Take continue to put him center stage and then act shocked when he gives an self centered and abrasive response.....when that is what he has given from day one.

As fans we should stop feeding into what the media claims is news worthy. I personally turn the channel anytime I see LaVar or here a sports station talking about LaVar. I literally learned more about LaVar and Molly today reading the OPs post and only did that because I thought it may be Cowboy related.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this guy at all, but I don't see anything wrong with what he said.

She asked if she could change gears and he replied, "sure, you can change gears with me anytime.". She's the one that initiated the awkward pause with her eyebrows raise. The innuendo was completely in here own head, yet she some how thinks she needs to go to HR?

“You can change gears with me any time” is in no way innuendo nor harassment and undermines the entire movement of trying to protect woman from actual harassment.

thatw we such an overreaction to a harmless statement. He said that to her before in the same manner. This guy is on tv all the time. They really think he goin slip up and make a mistake like that in the #metoo era. Especially to the wife of somebody(Jalen Rose ) he’s very cool with.

One question, is it universally known that Mrs Molly Querim Rose, can operate a manual transmission? If so, why the hullabaloo?

Let me add that espn is responsible for putting her on that show in the first place with her knowing she is only there for her sexuality and looks and adds zero input to the show. It is very awkward having these women on all these different sports shows just sitting there with zero input. Might as well just put up a couple of pictures of hot girls in the background since that’s basically all ESPN is looking for. They do this and then they cry foul at the first heavy breathe someone takes around them

Ball was backing down either from what he said. He made a statement through his spokes person where he was implying that he was using her words to change the subject. There are a lot of people who believe that there is no issue with this at all

Semi OT: whenever I see Molly, I kinda wonder if she has any Charissa Thompson like skeletons

Jane Slater too. But I would think she is smart enough not to keep that stuff in cloud storage

Lavar had run his source for ESPN and that over the top personna was gonna get his roasted at some point.
You can't be a WWE like character than get upset when someone takes offense.

But let's be real this is about ESPN letting its hosts know not to put this guy on the air anymore because they are tired of the complaints and whines whenever they do.
With his kid now in NOP and kid 2 in limbo overseas and kid 3 now headed overseas again too?
Yea, he doesn't have a product to push anymore it essentially the deal.

Lonzo and LaMelo ball out and he will be right back on tv.

I think Lamelo winds up a second round pick and never progress past the G League. He has some talent, but the kid makes Nick Young look efficient. May get a call up and minutes at some point if he gets drafted by a tanking team

Right now I'd guess he is a non lottery R1 guy.
He is working on his game and gaining weight/strength. Playing overseas was a great decision.
It removes him from the spotlight for another year but is best bet longer term.
It's an all offense all the time league right now and he is an offensive guy but yes he has to seriously work on efficiency.

Both LaMelo and Lonzo "can" have long NBA careers but they don't need any extra drama or nonsense that's surrounded them thus far.
Ironically, they'd actually be good on a team together. Games are very complimentary. A small market team may well want both to help draw eyeballs and sell tickets.
