What about without Zeke and 50MM to spend?
This is your usual commentary on all things running back.
Fair enough. You have your position and are loyal to it.
But what i would like for you to comment on is this.
Name a time in the last twenty years this team had cap space and used it to get to the NFC Championship game. Now that question has an answer we both know. But it is a fair assessment of the FO and how money doesn't matter. It's the eye for talent and the leadership which overcomes those early playoff games or late fourth quarters in a championship game and 80 yards with little time and few time outs.
Meaning the championship drives.
My point being, you, like so many, keep talking about the cap as if this is what prevents this team from winning it all. But there is no evidence this is based in any facts relating to
THIS franchise.
So when I see you so eloquently defend this position, I have to ask if you understand that your reality has never happened with this FO and this coaching staff.
The addition of Moore will not be the lynch pin for a championship.
It takes players. And championships are built around play makers. I think we saw enough from Felix Jones and Marion Barber to know the difference in a guy like Zeke and two really good, but not great running that fit your pay scale running backs.
I disagree with you. But do enjoy your posts. Enjoy the 4th.
