Look at Frederick, Martin, Nate Newton, Ray Donaldson, etc, etc, etc....

The key inside is a good anchor, and that doesn't happen with biceps and traps. That comes from a big butt.

He's better built for tackle.
The point is that the Cowboys and everyone else said he needed to bulk up in the offseason. Get stronger. Now he’s done that and you have to crap on it. It’s pathetic on your part.

Connor is down here in Mexico (Isla Mujeres) for the weekend, I will be attending a flag football tournament that my 13 yr old daughter is playing at, btw she is a qb and wears #9 Romo jersey since that is our actual last name... I will take pic and post them soon after!
Hells yeah enjoy!

Connor obviously looks more like you're typical offensive lineman, as compared to last year.

His next necessary step would undoubtedly be to perform like an outstanding left guard. ;)

Just a bit more development on the lower half of his body should additionally help his cause.

The problem is, guards need thick butts and legs to be effective against guys like Fletcher Cox. Top heavy strength doesn't really help much at all.

That would be useful at right tackle.

RT next year at least, maybe this year.

Dude just because your impressed looking at a guy with his shirt off doesnt mean I need to be. Maybe you should hit the gym more if you like it.
When you hate all the time like you do you need to man up and deal with the consequences.

The Penn State kid will probably be our left guard sooner then later.

I know he injured his pec muscle a couple months ago though and I don’t know how big of a set back that will be and Rookie Olinemen usually need an offseason to get stronger anyways.

Regardless we will have a quality left guard.

we are blessed with some GOOD PROBLEMS AT OLINE. We have an embarrassment of talent and depth. I say, put blinders on and start the best 5,period. Don't care where they were drafted, what they get paid...NUTHIN. Not a knock on Fred Beard, but if Looney and or McGovern beat him out at center and have a better camp, he needs to ride the pine until he can prove he's 100% and back to being Fred Beard. Sufalo(sorry about the spelling), was an awesome signing last year and played very well at left guard...in fact, he helped save the season. I wouldn't be mad if he wowed in camp and preseason and earned the starting Left guard spot. Let the competition begin boys!!!!

If Frederick is ready to go I do think our Oline gets back to 2014/2016 form this year.

Can't tell everything from a photo. The angle of that shot is misleading somewhat.
