DeMarcus Lawrence continues rehab on his shoulder, but even while doing that, the Cowboys defensive end is thinking about getting a leg up on Von Miller.

The Broncos linebacker has talked openly about breaking Michael Strahan’s single-season sacks record. Strahan had 22.5 in 2001.
That sack record should have a big asterisk next to it. Between sacks not being an official stat for many years and the shameful dive Favre took to give it to Strahan.

Tank will break the record of most sacks in a game against that Wentz dude. Heck he may get both records in the same game, 24 total in the game. :D

Thank you. I was hoping I wasn't the only one who felt that way. My wife thought it was "sweet" and I wanted to throw up. Those records mean something man.

I felt terrible for Strahan. It put him in a tough position publicly. Just really condescending of Favre to take a fall like that with the whole world watching.

Every defensive lineman wants to break the sack record.
Just stop disappearing for a couple of games a year and average a sack or more a game.
And how about getting some sacks against the eagles. You haven't even gotten close enough to smell an eagle QB in your career yet.

Very unlikely but thatd be great. I'm expecting around 12 or so this season from him.

I remember a game back in 2013 I want to say, when Calvin Johnson broke the single season yardage record. He was shooting to become the first receiver to make 2,000 yards receiving. Detroit, as usual, had nothing to play for in Week 17, so by the start of the second half, they went all out to get Johnson his record. And the defense wasn't going to let it happen. They triple teamed him as Stafford forced in pass after pass. By the end of the game, Megatron finished about 40 yards short.

That's a fair way to approach it IMO. If your teammates want to force feed you to push you over the top for a record, that's fine, but the opponents' job is to stop it. When the other team rolls over and become complicit is when the record is cheapened.

I felt terrible for Strahan. It put him in a tough position publicly. Just really condescending of Favre to take a fall like that with the whole world watching.

Knowing Favre, he probably thought he was doing Strahan a solid. And also knowing Favre, he probably didn't think things all the way through.
