How does a head coach choke. Look I want somebody that the league hasn't already scrutinized also. But you're only as good as your staff. It's called team even on the sidelines. Is he allowed to hire anybody he wants. You're not looking at the entire picture I don't think my cowboy family

I believe Butler got some rarely called penalty on offense also that cost us a drive . It all adds up and is what costs you games when all the teams are very equal in talent .

Game Day coaching and preparation for specific teams . You could see the packers had dissected the film and done there homework . They got yrds through penalties and killed our drive . This is what a good coach prevents in these big moments because it only takes a handful of botched plays through out the game to change the outcome .

We have seen it , Jerry has seen it . It just dosent bother him as much as it dose us or he would fix it . He has the money and the resources , coaching dosent count against the cap . WHY NOT BUY THE BEST!!!! He cant buy the players anymore but he could still buy the most elite coaching staff in the NFL . INSTEAD WE SUFFER LIONS RETREADS THE MEDIOCRE AND THE UNPROVEN .

Cant fix it from my house so I can be happy with a playoff birth and a quick exit till someone takes over that puts winning a SB over there own comfort.

Geez I don't hate Garrett he has done a lot of good things built a good team that plays hard to the end and makes us proud to be fans . All while dealing with Jerrys dysfunction .

But over the years he has proved conclusively what his limitations are over and over again . If SB really is the goal promote him, get him help, but do something . Don't just stand pat and expect different results . And yes Moore might be considered help but I would like someone a bit more battle proven before our window of opportunity slams shut . We could certainly afford it

Heck when you have unlimited resources , Do you hire Patton or Richard Simmons to lead your Army. Come on Jerry do us a solid here were getting old fast

Nobody has closed more windows during his tenure than Jason Garrett, it's his thing.

From the 11-5 team of 2009 he inherited and took to 8-8 for three years, to the 12-4 team with Romo, Murray, Dez and Witten, to the 13-3 team of 2016. Nobody does "rebuild" as long as Garrett has.

But good news is on the horizon. His own window closes this year.
