Enter The Dragon.

Props to @quickccc and @Roadtrip635 for mentioning Kill Bill (especially Volume I). @quickccc gets an extra salute for the Silver Surfer avatar. :)

I know it was a comedy and a parody but the Kung ** Hustle is one of my cult film classics, much like how I feel about Flash Gordon but with martial arts.

Hi East,
By his vast 'power cosmic " and super cool appearance and surf board, I've always loved the Silver Surfer (to which a solo movie is said to be in the working!!)

Though by the pure action that is displayed in both his comic mags and very short lived animation series, I have been very underwhelmed thus far.
Not well marketed by a herald of the infinitely powered Galactus

I really hope if/when the Silver Surfer movie is finally made, it is not watered down with slooow
"nobility" dialogue and film pace.
And I hope he is created and done a vast more better that was displaced in the dreadful
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Five fingers of Death (aka king boxer) is among my honorable mentions.
Did Ironside series steal 5 Fingers' music theme ?

-36 chamber series, Shogun Assassin, and the Protector (awesome bone crush final scene!!)
are also among my honorable mentions.
-5 deadly venoms is so popular it is considered a top cult classic.
- Hero had some of the most brilliant CGI special effects (ala arrow battle scene) camera work, and colorful cinematography.
- Ditto with Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon

- There is two Iron Monkey film versions, both are awesome ! I believe most are more familiar with Donnie Yeung version.

- While oh so looooved Kill Bill Vol. 1... I was so disappointed in Vol. 2 with only two great action scenes ( Bai Mai tutelage/coffin scene and vs Ellie (Darryl Hannah) ..everything else and remaining was downhill, very slow dialogue and underwhelming. - awful final scene vs Bill !!

Count me in with those hoping Norrin Radd gets introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For me his introduction would make a lot of sense, given the comic book connection between him and the already mentioned Adam Warlock at the end of Guardians Of The Galaxy 2.

I believe the right screenplay and director could combine the nobility dialogue with better pacing. I say that hoping the true nature of the Silver Surfer shines through the screen.

The Surfer, in essence, is the living consciousness for limitation balanced against Galactus universally ravenous and insatiable appetite. While Galactus is neither good nor evil, he does not personally hold his hunger within any concept of check-and-balance. The Surfer, who sacrificed all for the good of his own people, and later regained his empathy for other sentient beings after serving Galactus faithfully and unquestionably, symbolizes opposition for Galactus' apathic gluttony.

I guess I am comfortable with the Silver Surfer doing a few speeches about right and wrong. Just as long as they do not dog his own movie. :p Regardless, something MUST finally be done that will put that "HERE COMES BIG BAD SPACE CLOUD GALACTUS!!! I GOT GOOSEBUMPS!!!" Fantastic Four film in its proper place.:D

i thought Ip Man 3 brought more substance than the previous 2 Ip man films, ad more raving wow factors because it hosts a dream fight scenario of Wing Chun vs Heavyweight boxing icon Mike Tyson:
- also it featured Wing Chun vs Tai Boxing
- and Wing Chun vs Wing Chun
Plus don't forget the heart moving moments of Ip man having to endure his wife's battle with terminal cancer. Ip man 3 received such critical acclaim that it sprung up speculations of a 4th Ip Man moving could be in the making ( it was originally slated to be a trilogy)

I have no idea how the studios in America screwed up the title names of Bruce Lee's films when they became released in the U.S.

-Way of the Dragon was changed to Return of the Dragon
-Fist of Fury was changed to Chinese Connection
-the Big Boss was changed to Fist of Fury

I wouldn't think so many name changes would considered a mix up mistake. I think the American studios found the original titles as unimaginative and annoying and thought to change them out themselves
and when someone bring up Fist of Fury, i'm always wondering do they mean Big Boss .. or Chinese Connection ?

The newer age studios are trying to remedy this by their original titles which I consider it as a tribute to the memory of Bruce Lee who was simply a multi generation icon phenom, to which even today there is simply no comparison to him. He brought an astounding combination of charismatic personality, athleticism, agility and explosiveness, fighting style (jeet kune do) and camera presence that so hard to match and surpass.

When I hear the term " Martial Arts" Bruce Lee remains the face and name that instantly comes to mind. Even after 46 years after his death.
He remains a one of a kind icon and standard to which all martial arts film actors will be measured by.
