Do you even research game tapes before you spew your venom? Dez was a shell of his former self, hence why he was released after that 2017 season. Dez was finished since the 2015 season. Smith was constantly injured and played poorly that 2017 season, regardless that he was a former 1st round pick. His inability to stay and perform healthy that season is why Dak was pressured and sacked at a very high amount. 2018 was worse due to this ailing Oline. Want to try again or are you going to continue to talk nonsense?

Excuses excuses excuses and more excuses man is your man Dak franchise or what.
When it comes to excuses he is HOF material beyond that keep posting EXCUSES!!!!!:omg:

One more time ...5 no 1 picks!!!!!!!!

Are you going to be a man of your word and stay away from these forums all of the 2019 season once Dak signs a new franchise record contract extension before the 2019 season starts? Or were you just talking more bull?

Not when those "results" ignore the "actual results".
You can't be serious. Brian Hoyer's a qb that started in the playoffs for Houston. He's still a bum and back up. Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer have won super Bowls.

dak is good if you just need a QB who doesn't cause turnovers but to win with his arm. Ain't going to happen, surround him with elite talent and he might be able to Trent Dilfer for us.
If Zeke holds out things could get ugly quick. Zeke and Amari were Daks favorite go to guys and with Zeke gone teams will double Amari and Dallas better hope those rookie RBs can produce.

oh my gosh, Dak is so dreamy....He is just so.....so dreamy

Got it. You did see it.

You’re just bitter.

Go ahead and cry victim again about how “Dak lovers” are so unfair and unreasonable.

You do a good job of playing the victim on a messageboard.

Dak had good talent in 2017?

Name them. I dare you.
he had zeke outside of those 6 games. he had martin, Collins, witten, Bryant, Fredrick...smith played until he got injured.....the cupboard wasn't empty.... that's better than 15 other teams in the league. .but then...zeke got suspended and dallas sucked....three of the games against better opponents we couldn't get 10 points....freaking 10 points.....Dak struggled.....

its an undisputed fact that he needs really strong players around him...he can lead a team to wins, when he has strong talent around him. he is not a stat guy. even given those resources...he produces average results.... he is not a big time passer.....but he has the leadership and the mindset to not make mistakes and let the talent around him lead the team to victory. and you dak fanatics take issue with that...taking that as a criticism and wanting to give him all the credit for wins, and blaming everyone else for the losses.....

I mean 55 executive and coaches in the NFL ranked the players...but hey what the heck do they know....they should just ask Dak fanatics...

but I am sure a 5 page thesis/spin on 2017 talent is about to come from dak fanatics....

And what is that supposed to prove or disprove exactly?

Yes, because you intentionally leave out the important part of how each of those "talents" performed that 2017 season. But that's to be expected and a common theme from you Dak haters.

victim? what victim...sounds like your mind set.... all I hear from Dak lovers (since you used it), is excuses, spins and more excuses pointing fingers at everybody else on the team and on the planet...except for DAK....he has been so perfect in everything he does to you dak lovers...he has never ever, never ever ever made a mistake....its truly amazing..

so in regards to your comment on his performance against the Saints...a team that at the time was 31st in pass defense. giving up 280 yards passing per game....so dak just got 248 yards....couldn't get to the average futility of that pass defense.....on the other hand, saints had the second best rush defense in the league and I believe at the time they were the top rush defense. but don't let those facts get in the way of your Dak stats.... Saints came in that game and dared the cowboys to pass over them and focused on stopping one player and that was zeke…. and Dak almost cost us the game with his dumb fumble at the end and giving the ball back to saints.....couldn't just hold on and get a field goal to put the game out of reach.....so don't throw stats, because those stats actually showed how average Dak was in that game...248 yards, with a team focused on stopping the run against the 31st ranked pass defense. that I call embarrassing performance....

again, I am not a Dak Hater. that's the problem with you Dak Lover/Dak Fanatics...I have criticized Dak. I have talked about some of his short comings. I have said that he is average....but to you lovers, that makes me a hater. to you all, if I don't fawn over dak, drool when I think of him and my knees don't shake when I see his picture...that makes me a hater...

so how did martin perform? how did Collins perform? how did witten perform? how did Bryant perform?...lets not forget witten's and Bryant's performance is directly dependent on Dak...when zeke played the first 8 games, we were 5-3 and the offense averaging about 28 points a game...zeke is gone and we score 7, 9, 6...its not like we had chump change in the back field. we had Alfred morris...not a great RB, but a decent and good RB....

like I said, Dak needs to be surrounded with strong players..and when he has that, he can lead the offense to wins....his stats and over all performance still lags....but he can lead a team to wins...he can be the bus driver or a very good bus driver......but when he doesn't have that level of support, a very strong cast, he struggles. and then we get the lover crowd complaining that he doesn't have this, he doesn't have that....

wrong again...tell me when I said Dak sucks? or he is bad? or that I hate Dak?

Like I said, to you lovers...if we don't fawn and drool over Dak, we are called haters....
I wish I could like this 100x

Dak isn’t bad. He’s just not as good as many here believe. But if you mention this you are considered a hater. Even if league coaches and executives agree with you.

Yes you are playing the victim. All you have been doing is crying over and over again in thread after thread about “Dak lovers”. How they are so mean and call people “haters” and how they’re unreasonable, etc etc. whining and crying about it over and over again.

It’s pathetic.

As for the saints game. Total yardage is the dumbest and most rudimentary way to make a judgement. Look at the yards per attempt, look at the completion percentage. The total passing yardage was low because there wasn’t a high number of attempts.

So if the Saints defense was “daring the cowboys to pass” maybe the coaches should have passed more, because the passing offense was having plenty of success, when the coaches actually used it. It’s not Dak’s fault that the coaches ran Zeke into a defense over and over again despite it not being productive at all.

Sorry you struggle to be objective.

Again, feel free to blame Dak for his poor play against the panthers or the Skins in the first game or the Texans, etc. games where he was struggling
And was a big reason for the loss.

But blaming the QB for a game against the #1 seed in the NFC for being CLOSE, not even a loss but CLOSE. When the QB was averaging 8.8 yards per attempt, Is just plain stupidity.

Expecting your team to blow out a team as good as the Saints in the first place is stupidity as well.

lmao so funny and yet so sad.
Tier 3 guy who can protect the ball and causes few turnovers from knowing his weakness.
Slow on reads holds the ball too long and panic from pressure.
Perfect protection can get the ball in the general area of the receiver.
Team player with a good attitude but not enough talent.

Clearly Dak is Tier 1. Especially in the playoffs when he outperforms Rodgers, Wilson, and Goff. Hard to find a more clutch player in the league, other than Brady.

You are correct, sir.

66 for 103 (64.1% comp), 794 yards, 7 TDs, 2 INTs, 95.7 QBR

You’d be hard pressed to find another QB with better playoff stats. The defense has let us down in both playoff losses. Like him or not, Dak shows up for big games and in the 4th quarter.
