Yo didn’t Murray have 1500+ yds rushing behind this OL? So your telling me part of Zeke success is the OL not the other way around.

What the hell happened to Zeke against Rams, especially on short yardage...

Rams STONEWALL Zeke on fourth-and-short
The Rams stonewall Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott on fourth-and-short.

The same thing that happened to the Saints vs the Rams a week later:

Ingram - 9 carries, 31 yards
Kamara - 8 carries, 15 yards

How Sir do you dare to question our Zeke?
Let me tell you the facts and only the Facts.
Zeke has accomplished all the below since 2016 with a QB that no Defense respects and are pretty much in single cov all game long as there playing 7-8 men in the box to stop .....wait for it ....wait for it.....ZEKE!!!!
Imagine what Zeke and our offense could do if defenses also feared our passing game?
Next please.... and bud Sell Crazy elsewhere!!!!
Wait a second...

You like Zeke???

Hmm...Let's see...

It's 4th & 1, late in the 4th quarter during the divisional playoff round game at the Rams. The play obviously goes to Zeke, handing him the ball, putting the game/playoffs on the line in his hands and letting him convert that 4th & 1 for a 1st down which would have allowed the Cowboys to keep possession and get a score to potentially tie the game or take the lead.

There were 2 ways Zeke could have ran with the ball:

1) Run between the C and LG to get that 1 yard needed for a 1st down. There was a hole there for a split second or two.

or

2) Dive over the pile between C and RG. There was a crevice that opened up above the falling RG Zack Martin. Emmitt used to dive over such falling piles and easily convert short yardage attempts for 1st downs. Even other RB Greats like Walter Payton, Marcus Allen, LaDainian Tomlinson and a few others were known for diving over short yardage piles in order to get a 1st down or a TD.

But not Zeke. Instead, he went straight into the pile, timidly, and got stuffed for a loss.

Zeke is good at hurdling DBs 1-on-1 in the open field, but he has yet to ever dive over a pile at the line of scrimmage to convert a short yardage gain needed for a 1st down or a TD. That's what separates the greats from good RBs, especially when the game/playoffs is on the line.

Watch the video Smith pushed his guy upfield, if Zeke would have followed to left he would have gotten 1st down or huge yards. He got stalled at line of scrimmage,if he wants-the top RB money he would have gotten that first down ( would be worth it) I know damn well Beast Mode would have gotten that 1st down.

You are obviously being a troll.
Sorry if I am coming across as rude but be honest with everyone here. You are between the ages of 12-16 arent you?

Anyone who has any level of basic understanding of football would watch the Rams game and quickly realize that Zeke didn't have room to run. Trying to isolate 1 pay you think you found that shows a "hole" he didnt follow is trollish and an elementary level debate tactic that only continues to show a lack of understanding of this sport.

Btw....Not only does Zeke want top RB money but he will get top RB money regardless of your trollish opinion and way you present yourself.

There are the game highlights. The Rams decided that stopping Zeke was the way to beat the Cowboys. Go to 1:19. The Cowboys were in shotgun and the rams still had 7 men on the line and one more in the box. You pull that crap against a good QB and you give up 40 or more points. The 1:19 was Dak's first touchdown. It was a simple 10 yard in and there was no help over the top.

Go to 2:47. The Rams literally had NINE men in the box on a regular first and 10. I can go on and on with more examples.

Its all game long. If you understand football, what happened in the Rams game was a passing game problem. They basically took the Colts' playbook from a few weeks before.

Actually the passing game was fine. Dak didn’t turn it over and outplayed Goff. The real problem was not getting that 4th and 1 because they had a chance to tie up the game. Also the Rams controlled TOP so the Cowboys didn’t get a ton of opportunities.

Same Rams D basically shut down Brady so a good QB wouldn’t necessarily light up that D.

You dont understand context do you?

The fact that he lead the league in yards after contact refutes your goofy point that hes a product of the OL.
I just couldn't agree more. Yards after contact. That's an individual statistic.

Here you go. I was interested until you slammed Prescott. Unjustifiable. Can you leave him out of your mouth when you're praising Elliot so I can least give you one like. You're bleating heat for everything Prescott does is not becoming. And once again you're confusing your opinion with facts. That's why it's hard to take anything you say with any substance

Zeke may not be Emmitt, but hes infinitely better than Dakota :lmao2:

DJ’s tweet has you all in your emotions and theres nothing you can say because deep down you know hes right :lmao2:
I don't know how anyone can say. Elliott's better than Prescott simply because ones are running back and one is a quarterback. You'll have to Define yourself better on that subject for me

The offensive line wasn’t good last year.

They were mediocre at best.

Zeke still led the league in rushing.

Zeke is a stud.

Our offensive line got their butts whipped by Suh and Donald all game long against the Rams. All game long. It affected both Zeke and Dak to be honest.

Some People want to blame that loss on Dak. Some want to blame it on Zeke.

We Lost the Rams game because our defensive line and offensive line both lost their battles. The Rams owned the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. That’s the biggest reason why we lost. We couldn’t stop the run and we couldn’t run the ball because of it. And it makes everybody else’s job tougher too.
