To those saying Dak should accept a $15 mil/season team friendly deal like Tom Brady

We forget that Tom Brady has been playing in the NFL since Dak was seven years old.

Brady has made so much money already, he can "take one for the team" and play on a lower than average salary.

So the debate as to whether Dak is worth more or not is really not comparable to Brady's situation anyway.

That and Brady was once won of the highest paid QB's earlier in his career, just not at the exorbitant salaries as of today. He won 3 SB's before he knew Gisele even existed. Probably invested his money wisely.

no not 15 but 28-29 yes but nothing over 30 for sure
The longer he waits it out the higher the number is going to go especially if it goes to next offseason or god forbid after a franchise tag or tw

Tom Brady is the greatest to ever lace them up. He deserves every dollar he gets. But Dak should take 15 per and be thankful.
Never going to happen. Jones will end paying him on $30 million average over 5 years.

Just look at these contracts to see where the neighborhood is for Dak.

Foles to Flacco range about 22 million a year is a good slot for Dak and a 14-15th ranked passer.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/contracts/quarterback/
Flacco is 34, sliding downward, and lost his starting job. Foles has only had one strong season in a 7 year career, and that was 6 years ago. Had he not had a strong playoff run in 2017 he would be an afterthought around the league.

Yeah. Expect a player to take a "team friendly" deal on his 2nd contract.

Y'all need to wake up.

Most players never see a 3rd contract. This is the biggest payout they will receive in their lifetime. But yeah, take less so ignorant fans will be happy.

So, where would you put him in this list of QB’s?

Brady’s a rare unselfish talent. He knows in order to surround himself he needs to take less plus it allows him to continue playing on his terms by taking team friendly deals. The perfect elite QB for Cap era.

I'm afraid that Dak won't be a 6 time SB champ because a lot of the salary cap will go to him and the rest of the team will suffer. There's a reason Aaron Rodgers has only won 1 SB The Packers pay him and don't have enough money to spread around. Tom Brady has won several SB's on team friendly contracts. I hope Dak sees this and follows suit. Also Dak can make up his money from endorsements, ala Brady.
Dak or Zeke wouldn’t ever follow suit because they’re both too selfish.

Unfortunately, I don’t see this team ever winning a SB with either of them...

Dak really should have shut up with that whole everyone can get theirs BS.. He needs to focus on throwing for more than 25 TDs in a year..

Dak better play like a top 5 QB next year or the hate will be unbelievable. Well, understandable, I guess.

Everyone here acting as if Brady didn’t have Giselle he would still accept the lower salary.
He probably would...

The thing about greedy people is they can never get enough... See Dak and Zeke..

Brady could obviously command anything he wants, but he’s not grubbing for money..

Oh wait...

Mike Lombardi wrote on the athletic that Jerry needs to convince Dak this is the first of possibly three contracts he will earn. Take a bit less nw so they can keep the core together. Offer him a 3 year 23 million per year guaranteed contract. That is a huge guarantee and Dak should take that.

If those 3 years for $23 mil each are fully guaranteed? Heck yeah, Dak should take it.

Who are the 32 starting caliber QBs that he should be backing up?
Your question implies there are 32 starting caliber QBs or that there is much of a difference between lower end "starters" and upper end backups.
