The Patriots are actually meeting my standards, which you just acknowledged.

Thing is, they have always had a real head coach. Oops.

u mean a headcoach who will leave no stone unturned to get an advantage

Even this is a low though. Last year I don’t recall so much stock being put into this game.
You call it a low, I call it a high. This franchise doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Imo the fanbase has been too kind to them. We should be critical about every minute detail until they prove they can win when it matters.

Belichick is a high standard which practically everyone falls short.

But I see zero from Garrett that suggests he even thinks at a high level.

He is not an intellectual coach at all.

The time he outsmarts another head coach will be his first. All you have to do is see his record against first time coaches.

After six padded practices, Dak Prescott has completed 84 of 124 passes with four interceptions in team and seven on seven drills. In the most extensive action of camp yet, Prescott completed 21 of 32 throes and had a red-zone pass picked off by Xavier Woods. He threw two touchdown passes and had the first-team in position for a game-winning kick but Brett Maher hooked a 32-yarder. “I’ve definitely gotten better,” Prescott said of his camp. “I’ve had a couple of turnovers but it’s simply trying throws. I wanted to make throws, try them, the whole risk vs. reward. I’m getting better. At the end of the day, that’s what I’m trying to do. I’ve had some good days, some better days and not so good days but that’s part of it. This defense is good. They’re going to do that. They’re going to frustrate me. They’re going to frustrate a bunch of quarterbacks that we play throughout the season. It’s just part of it.”

Well, I guess I have no choice but to assume that our defense is awesome.
