Ever notice everybody who gets busted has an elaborate excuse?

They have the evidence to prove it however.

I mean doesn't it strike you as odd that the pharmacy confirmed they pulled the masking agent medicine right before they pulled Quinn's seizure meds?

Read the statement from his agent. It's interesting.

He takes medication for seizures. His attorneys had the local pharmacy pull records and it turns out that right before they pulled Quinn's prescription, the pharmacy pulled the drug that triggered the failed test. They think when they mixed the medication, it's possible some of the residue got on Quinn's medicine and caused the failed test.

I’m so fatigued with these canned boilerplate alibis by athletes. Another guy got popped the other day (in MLB I think) and it’s the same ol’ “It’s come to my attention that I may have accidentally ingested a banned substance in my protein shake. I have never knowingly taken performance enhancing drugs nor condone them [...]

Man, some of you really need to read through the post instead of reading the headline - jumping into reply's and saying the first thing that pops in your head....this is not the case of a stupid player, dumb team, horrible organization. This is the NFL once again, doing what the NFL wants to do and to whom it wants to.

But the whole "league doesnt have it out for us" crowd still alive and well. Right @aria Please explain this one. We are all ears.
I’m not really thinking there is a conspiracy against Dallas... but this does seem like someone said: Wow, Quinn opposite DeMarcus Lawrence will be formidable. We’ve got to do something about this. *yells over his shoulder* Larry, get Robert Quinn drug tested, like today! Not tomorrow! Today!

Exactly, and it says the league admitted it was intentional.

Do you get 2 games right away after a failed test or must you already been in the "program"?

When will these guys learn you can’t outsmart the system. If it was seizure meds you have to check, check and check again if it will somehow come up as a drug not allowed by NFL.

That wasn't the case here, his may have been contaminated at the pharmacy. Read the statement before jumping to conclusions
