So here we are. Again.

Demarcus Lawrence might not be ready for Week 1. Robert Quinn is suspended. Randy Gregory is in Siberia. Tyrone Crawford even has an incident hanging over his head.

So our edge rushers against the Giants could be Taco Charlton, Dorrance Armstrong, and Joe Jackson?

Plus, Zeke may be still holding out.

The entire game might be up to Dak against the Giants, except this won't be a meaningless Week 17 game.

That game is looking more losable by the second.

Hyder is there too.

Anyway, as long as Eli is back there those pass rushers you mention will be just fine. :lmao2:

There OL still may be bad, they are down on WR's. So load up the box to stop Barkley, and these guys can still get to Eli.

And I think DLaw will be ready game 1.

Well, the silver lining is the Giants OL was trash last year. Did the Giants improve their OL? Barkley is also probably licking his lips as well.

Edge could be an issue, but we should get some decent push in the middle. All accounts are that Collins is looking great. Also, the CBs have been locking it down in camp.

Get ready, we all know what this team does when they have a little success, they fall apart the next year, and boy it's looking that way now

they added Kevin Zeitler at guard in trade with Browns. Hernnadez is going into his second year. I think their OL will be better than last year

We will be fine. Not time to worry. A push up the middle is just as effective.

Barkley's 1st game against us he did nothing in rushing, minimal yards 11 for 28 yards. Eli checked down to him 16 times, as he caught 14 for 80 yards.
the 2nd game he had 17 carries for 109, and one was a 68 yarder (oh no the Barkley fans on here won't like this) so remove the 68 yard TD run against backup defense, and it is now 16 for 41.
He had 8 targets with 4 catches for 33 yards.

Now he should, and most likely will be better in his 2nd year. But I am not really concerned about him at this point.
Maybe it is our defense that are licking their lips. :D

Yeah, here we are again. But this time it's different. This is the deepest roster that we have had since 1995. DLaw is going to play and we'll have Dorance Armstrong on the other side for two games. Maleik Collins looks like a beast in the middle. And we're playing two teams that honestly look like they're going to be in the bottom third of the league.

We're going to be just fine.

..if that's the case, its going to be a shoot out. Good time for implementing that new offense scheme. We might be lucky since no one has seen it, surprise will be the devil throughout the game.

Its the defense that might need to pull some new tricks. Since most problems look to stem from defense side. At least, till situations clear up.

Barkley is a big home run hitter.

Our defense was elite last year, but we have lots of questions this year in the front line. I was speaking more in this context.

until I see it NOT happen,Im gonna say....
DEs Joe Jackson and Jalen Jelks will be the best rookie DE tandem the league has seen the last 5yrs.

Kerry Hyder will be the steal of the off season.

The lights finally come on for Taco and he gets 3 sacks vs nyg.

there....ipso-fatso....solved.....it could just as easily go THAT way as well.....
ITS.

While this is true, I not sure we'll need a pass rush, not a strong one anyway. Hell, Eli is still there but this is Barkley team now. We will have our LBers.......stop or slow Barkley, we win.
