When Romo is 50 and dealing with chronic issues from all the injuries he sustained while playing, you homers are still going to be spouting this nonsense.

You didn’t know that it’s common for 39 year old retired players, who haven’t taken a snap in 2 years, to come back into the league and not skip a beat?

It happens all the time.

Folks are just aggravated, It's been a long time since this team went somewhere. There is an outside shot now and players are the problem now ,not the talent. On vacation last week I finally got my tattoo and the Artist was Kidding me by asking if I still had my VHS player so I could watch Dallas in a super bowl again.

Did ya stab him?

I would've......then hollered " Long live Jerry Jones!!!"

There’s a difference between replacing his position and replacing HIM. I’m not so sure why people can’t comprehend that

This, if that was the case teams would be replacing backs every 3-4 years like we change underwears. Will see if the gnats fans will be the same when Barkley time is up to be the highest paid back.

Leaps and bounds a head of where he was. His golf game is way better than when he focused on football.

I'm still irritated w/ DLaw. Paying him might well have led to the holdout w/ Zeke.
DLaw said last year he has no problem playing on the franchise tag. He signed it and was a man of his word. He then said he wasn't playing on a tag again this season and I don't hold it against him.

Zeke in the other hand has 2 years left on his deal.....

I focus on and support the players who are playing.

I do not care if players hold out as that is their business, but until he returns, I view him just like I would an injured player.
Channeling Bill Parcels. Lol. I like it.

I honestly think if it gets to where the first 5-6 games are missed, the marriage might be beyond repair. We could hear trade talks before the Oct trading deadline.

I think it might be over as of Wk 1.

A player who is under contract will be hoping for poor performances by his teammates to bolster his bargaining position. That's treason/sabotage. Unforgivable given Zeke's transgressions.

So true.......not sure why
LOL.....a player can go from great to bad dishwater when contract talk starts

It’s not personal. I love Zeke, he’s a different kind of cat and a real warrior. But some players it’s always something. First the off feild issues, and now this. Do we really want to commit big $$, can he be trusted long term. If he gets in trouble again it will cripple this team. Just saying

Zeke gonna do whatever he thinks is best for him. While that sucks for fans, it's understandable from a business, & personal level. As a fan, I don't like it but, realize my opinion, & fandom is somewhat irrelevant.

My frustration with the situation is, I believe he's a year early. I could stomach the holdout better, if this was next year. Holding out with 2 years left, I don't find as honorable. It's as if, Z wants to eat up the available cap space all for himself knowing, that next year we'll have several other big deals coming. We just can't pay everybody top dollar.

Stephen said recently, "It's not like the extra money is going in mine, & Jerry's pocket, that money goes to other players" or, something to that effect. He's got a legit point here. While, I'd love to see Zeke playing, What top player with looming contract deal coming, would you like to see bounce so Z can get his money..? Jaylon..? Dak..? Amiri..? How about an Olineman..?

I'd prefer Z to eat a slice of humble pie, get to work, & help this team go deep in the playoffs. He's proven he can ball. He hasn't proven, he can stay out of trouble long term. Imagine giving him the monster contract that hurts the team, & he gets in trouble again.....

He is not 50 right now. But I agree.

Oh and I am not a homer for Romo. I am however a admitted homer for my team.
