I'm sure in your brain you thought you were making a good point here, copy and paste boy.
I did make a good point. Thanks for noticing.

That and punt returns. This is so true.
Seeing a pick 6 as a cowboys fan, is like seeing a unicorn.

Well I came in to argue against the #2 best defense......but then I looked at the list.......maybe you can argue the Bears are better...hell I'd even agree but its not too many more units I'm taking over the Cowboys. Cowboys are flawed and not perfect by any means but so is everyone else on that list.
Call me when they make a difference in the playoffs.Cowboys Defense in 2018
- 6th in points allowed.
- 7th in total yards allowed.
- 4th in yards/carry allowed.
I guess the 25 teams that allowed more points much have D-Coordinators that are 30 years past their prime.
The Saints Defense was 14th in points allowed and 14th in total yards allowed. Their D-Coordinator must have been maxed out when he was 16...
A lot of people forget that The Triplets had an awesome defense that helped them win 3 super bowls.
The main thing the current defense needs to justify this high ranking is generate turnovers better.
2nd best D maybe in the NFC East
Certainly not in the entire league
Need better play inside from the DTs and the corners need to learn to turn their head and make plays on the ball.
Old-fella Marinelli will be exposed come playoff time as usual
That and punt returns.
73 rush yards allowed in the Seattle game...Call me when they make a difference in the playoffs.
Move on Troll Master.Yes you did. Your lack of football IQ.
I can think of one coach who probably didn’t learn a lesson from that game.Amazingly, we were 5th in the NFL in run defense last year. But, you can bet every team on our schedule has dissected the Ram game and will try to imitate their success.
Move on Troll Master.
Bill Parcells 2003 defense was number one in points number 2 in yards. (or vice versa) But if we can reach that level of success again we won't miss Zeke that much at all.

That was solid run d last year and got totally out coached in the rams game.
I highly doubt we're top 3. We don't have the horses on the interior DL, or at S.
I think we'll be pretty good though, if we stay healthy. And the offense can score in the redzone. That helps.
We were a little better than league average on defense last season with some outlier performances, we were also pretty good in redzone defense.
Not top 3, but I'd say top 10. #6 to #8. Top 10 is generally good enough to be a legitimate SB contender if your offense is top 10 as well, which is a pretty good chance.
The 2nd best defense in the NFL doesn't give up 250 yards rushing in the most important game of the season. Not a chance.
I'm trying to give you a smack to the face for each yard given up against the Rams but it won't let me.73 rush yards allowed in the Seattle game...
