Lol, I really don’t get some of you. After everything Zeke has done...and you’re defending him for being disrespected?

We all know the security guard is a piece of trash (like Zeke) but where was the outcry of the security guard being disrespected after Zeke knocked him over? Where was the support for the DJ being disrespected after Zeke knocked him out? Where was the support for his coach at the time, Urban Meyer, after Zeke PUBLICLY disrespected him after losing a game? Where was the outcry of Zeke disrespecting the girl in the video but blocking her from walking away?

Zeke is a punk, has bullied people his entire since college, and now he’s not used to it. Although Jerry was joking IMO, and should have kept his mouth shut, it’s very hypocritical to act like Zeke is the victim here for being disrespectful when that’s all he’s done and very few people ever said anything about it. IMOF, a lot of you minimized and supported Zeke in the situations I mentioned and now Jerry says two words and again it’s “poor Zeke”. Lol, this guy could spit in your mothers faces and you would say bless you. Is there anything he CAN do wrong?
That's stupid! Spit in my mom's face and your are dead or beat the crap out of. Your hate for this dude is much worse than our support.

I think Zeke is a top 3 RB and a pro-bowler and a KEY component to past and future success for team, BUT

Stop right there. There is no but. What you mentioned is lucrative and Zeke wants the return on that value because he's not getting it now. It's possible to get it now so Zeke wants it now. That's where we're at. Owners would get rid of him if it were the opposite situation. Strike first is the order of the day in this league.

That's assuming you'd even have brain waves left to feel one way or another about anything, lol.
Well at least I would have the advantage of starting off with brain waves which we know Zeke doesn’t have. The only thing I would be scared about his breaking my fist on that huge dome of his otherwise I’m pretty sure I could hold my own at a minimum. Not trying to play tough guy...just expressing my opinion.

How about the NFL makes it mandatory to HONOR your contract that you signed and knock off this holding out bull****.

A bit disrespectful even as a joke? Probably. But probably no worse than holding out when you’re still under contract for two years.

Holding out from training camp while under contract is a hardball negotiating tactic. So he can’t get too bent out of shape if Jerry plays hardball back.

Personally I would prefer Jerry not make the little quips like that.

I will add: I wish both sides would get a deal
Done already.

Ding ding ding.

Did I personally say you? Your dang right my hate for this PUNK is strong. I wouldn’t consider it worse than your support considering you support someone that bullies people half his size and women, but hey, he’s your boy and he wears a Star so if that’s what you’re about than support on.

Shut up Rocky and if Zeke truly feels disrespected from that joke - how in the world do you think Jerry feels with you not showing up after how much they've done for you?

Zeke - your agent is not your friend - I know you think he is, but he's not. He just wants the biggest piece of your pie that he can.

If it's not against the league rules to do so and negotiation can take place then LVE is welcome to take that risk if he wants to. Zeke is and is more valuable so it's a calculated risk by his estimation. Dez was under contract when we cut him so .....
And you would support LVE if he sat out after a year?

Jerrah prob shouldn’t have said it, but he literally clarified almost immediately that he was kidding. Zeke and his agent need to stop being butt-hurt babies for crying out loud.

I honest to god would. I would love to have a go a it with that baby behind close doors whether I got whooped or not, I think I would feel a lot better mentally.
Is used to being a big fish in a little pond. Our FO kept him feeling the same way. 16 million in the bank before he takes a snap in the NFL and signs the check while being under investigation, then while spending some of the signing bonus he pulls a chicks top down and gets in a bar fight. Our FO stuck by him and helped him the whole time. Now the security guard thing (which is going away I see) and JJ helps. Oh yeah and the car wreck that’s starting another lawsuit. JJ will be handling that also.

Our FO needs to say here is your last and final. It’s gurly money plus a dollar. It’s valid until the opening snap of the last preseason game. We have the right to fine you for not being here and will be doing it.

Some are getting hooked into this drama because there's far too much emotion involved. Look at the fuller quote from this story:

Seems to me that Jerry's "Zeke who" was more of a dodge like, "I don't want to talk about negotiations" and then goes on to talk about how Pollard could be a complement for Zeke, not a replacement. As seen from this story's reference of Jerry's earlier quote, it actually looks like a softening on Jerry's part and talking like a deal will get done and Zeke will be there. I get that the deny Zeke anything crew won't want to see that. Zeke's agent now is just playing up the joke Jerry made that looks more damning when you take it by itself and not look at the rest to make it look like they're not pleased and that negotiations are more adversarial than they actually are. This is also a negotiating tactic meant to have more eyes on the situation to add pressure. Totally choreographed. But trigger-happy emoting machines won't see that either.

If that is what JJ meant then he wouldn't have immediately thereafter said it was a joke, but not at Zeke's expense.

Heck yeah, Zeke is a man. Any man with any pride would be pissed. Jerry stood up for him because he wanted him on the field. Do you really think he cares about him as a man? Lol!!! He loved Tony until he didn't! Grow up.
Yes, Jerry really does care about his players - to a fault actually!

If he wanted to take that chance I would support his right to do it, sure. I'm in favor of players getting what they can. We wouldn't be here if owners weren't screwing players way back when but no one ever cares about the cause for why something is the way it is.
