Honestly if Jaylon is averaging 13 mill a year, then Zeke is easily worth 14 mill a year. I don't have a problem with that. The loss of Zeke would have a much bigger effect on our team than the loss of Jaylon - and I love Jaylon!

With Dak - you gotta have Zeke or you got nothing!

You can't really compare across positions though because of the value the league has essentially placed on the various positions.

Elliott is probably a better player than Dak, but because of the nature of the positions, Elliott will never sniff a contract like Dak's.

This seems like a legit offer, Zeke needs to sign it and report to camp.

But what do they constitute as dumb?

Does he lose money if he hangs his butt out the window and poop like a bird?

Zeke better realize that the cowboys don't have to make this deal yet....He better take it or he will be sitting for a looooong time
Wouldn't you have said that after that Smith pc? Wasn't Booger the man to stand his ground? What a joke, starts posturing about players not taking what's offered and then offers more within 48 hours. Anyone think this is a take it or leave it offer? Guess Booger's not so in love with Pollard, after all?

I think if this is real money and not funny money, he will take it because he doesn't really want to not be with the team. I think this has been really hard on him and according to Pollard, he's been staying in touch with the RB's and evidently, he and Garrett have stayed in contact.

Some have put a black hat on him, as Booger tried to do in that pc, but I think he's an immature young man and I think his Dad and agent have been the ones helping him hold steady and not give in.

Zeke is lucky they are willing to do this at all.

I disagree with him being paid like that when they have him for 2 more seasons plus a franchise tag if they want it.
Do I like that he's holding out? Obviously, No. But I think he has a legit case for doing so.

He's been the best RB in the league for 3 years now. Should have 3 consecutive rushing titles.

RB's careers don't last as long as other positions. This is a fact.

When you're a RB who's been the best in the league for your entire career, and probably only has a max of 5? 6? years of peak performance left, if that, you deserve to get paid.

RB's get screwed in this league.

Rushing titles today are nothing more then most carry titles.

If you’re already making him the 2nd highest, just pay the difference and make him the highest.

I don’t want to lose an elite talent over a few million.

If he remains in your future plans, you pay the man. If not, why offer up to the 2nd highest?

My only problem is, when somebody else gets their money (Gordon) is he happy being the 2nd highest paid? Or is this a revolving door
Cause he is wanting the contract now rather than a year or two down the road
