Now competing teams for that given week are going on conference calls and agreeing mutually to not us 80% of their starters.. not even for the 3rd game...wow it has finally met its end..

This might be the last year with 4-5 PS games... big changes are coming..

its like watching a live tackling practice..

yet fans , insane ones, are paying for FULL Parking, Food, Drink, and Ticket costs.... Huh no way I live 8miles from the stadium and wouldn't even consider a PS game..why would I when I can wait few weeks and get real season game tickets for the same cost and the full experience...

SAD I can get passed 20mins watching on tv before I'm like welp..saw some ball..turn tv to gilligans Island , its more entertaining..:huh::popcorn:

I had free tickets to the Eagles Ravens game last night.
I went. The guy who gave me the tickets also gave me a parking pass so I didnt have to spend the $40. I thought I was going to get to see a half of Lamar Jackson. Nope.... Some kid from Penn State started. The Eagles rested most of their starters. I guy we know put us in a club box on the 50 yard line. So that was nice......But I kept thinking how much some of the people around me paid to watch this crap. Drinks were not cheaper. Tickets were expensive for the poor guy who had to buy them.

Then at halftime the rain came and we got out of town.

Even for free I don't think I would do that again.

Preseason has become a bad joke.

As long as teams are allowed to sit their starters for the duration of the preseason then this is what will happen. Rather than reworking the whole preseason and regular season schedule, all that needs to be done is pass a policy that all capable players will play in ALL games. These young coaches like Sean McVay and Kingsbury are the ones causing this problem.

I felt the same way about a college game I went to once. I paid for my food though, but all I could think about was "all these people paid for this?" lol

Who cares? If fans are dumb enough to see the studs, they're not real fans.

What is it with people who think forcing guys to play is a realistic solution?

"Force Zeke to play!" Force them all to play!" Get ready for lots of mysterious injuries and guys tapping out every other play. Oh, I know, if that happens FINE THEM!

Or you could leave the entire preseason as is except get rid of a couple of these fake "games" and replace them with practices, scrimmages, etc..

It has always been a bad joke, these games are not necessary for the coaches or players.

Can anyone blame any HC for not playing his starters? Got one backup QB in concussion protocol and Newton, the most dependent QB on his feet, down with a bad foot.

Nothing more then the greed of these scumbag owners and willingness of the sheep to be shorn.

You get to see some starters in Week 2 and Weeks 3/4 there's college football on so it's not too bad (college football Week 0 this weekend and then week 1 next weekend).

Really week 1 is the only week that's tough for football fans

Kingsbury played Murray more than any starting QB played in the league.....

Fans have no choice to pay full price for these games.
As most are season ticket holders and must pay the price as it is the way the owners charge fans.

Now this year though, Jerry lowered the preseason game prices, but increased the regular game prices. So he is not out any money as the season ticket holder still pay the same or a little more. But the psychological effect of it is they pay less for these games. So he thinks the fans are not fooled by it. But they aren’t

But fans who don’t want to pay or can’t pay full price can go see a watered down game, or if they just want the stadium experience to see can afford to go easier.

Still a riip off though in a way.

Not without real game checks to the players and that's going to cut into those profits from paying them next to nothing.

Sure, they will get their half of the estimated $2 billion in profits that the two added regular season games are expected to generate.
