IDK .........No question Fish has some ears in the building but not sure if this legit or he's click-baiting. Remember this just Taco's 3rd year, so we don't decide his 5th-year option until next year. With Quinn on a one year deal, why give up on him, especially since it appears he's ready to ball. Not sure where Fish is going with this......

Cowboys 1-on-1: Taco Charlton - 'Whatever coaches want, I'll do' (But what do the coaches really think?)

Cowboys 1-on-1: Taco Charlton - 'Whatever coaches want, I'll do' (But what do the coaches really think?)

FRISCO - Taco Charlton experienced the finest performance of his three-year NFL career on Saturday in helping to drub the visiting Houston Texans, 34-0 at AT&T Stadium. And now he's ready for more.

"It took me a little bit to get back into it,'' Taco tells me, "but I'm getting back into the groove of things.'

I think there may be some truth to this, Brian Broaddus also said he heard that the organization isn't really high on Taco anymore either..

I don’t think it’s outrageous.

Maybe they want to cash in on his preseason play knowing it might be fool’s gold?

I think it could be a possibility, simply because the coaches are currently going to be forced to cut young DE’s they like and that have potential, simply due to roster number considerations.

So moving a piece that could bring any type of draft pick value could make sense. Because otherwise Guys like Jelks and Daniel Wise are probably about to get cut and the team won’t get anything in return.

With the bounty of all the defensive lineman we have; some we can't keep, why not explore getting something for some of them rather than outright cutting them. I don't think Taco is in danger of being cut but the next man up is pretty good, too. Taco's trade value may never be higher so if we can help out another area of the team, why not?

No one is going to trade anything more than a 5th for him, he has proven nothing so far just flashed some in preaseason. I'm not knocking him he looks like he gets it now, but value-wise he is no more than a backup type.

It wouldn't surprise me.

I think they really like Dorance Armstrong.

They can go with Crawford and Armstrong for a couple of weeks then they'll get Quinn back.

We seem to have a surplus of talent. Makes sense to try & get some value in return rather than just let it walk. Whether it be Taco or someone else. If its Taco, you couldn't have asked for much better advertising than last weeks game.

Taco haters preparing their responses....

Actually I would not complain or mind. It does not bother me if he is traded or id he stays on the roster. But lean more toward a trade.

I also wonder if it has anything to do with the return of Gregory plus Jackson and Jelks and their assumed potential.
But more so Gregory may be applying for reinstatement and good chances it is approved. Jackson and Jelks icing on the cake, but one still goes to the PS.

However, who would you rather have. Gregory and the risk of another suspension, or Taco and the risk of not living up to what everyone wants.

Trade Zeke instead. He has more trade value. They might actually get someone in return who wants to play the game more than pad his bank account.

Fish said on the fan this morning the coaches aren't as impressed as the fans.

I put no faith in Gregory he has let this team done enough times. I would just hope that if Dallas does trade that it will be for a decent pick

Jelks just stands out as a talent as a pure pass rusher.

If they cut him he'll never see our practice squad.
