I’m streaming games on Reddit through my Apple TV. It’s never failed me and the picture quality is great.

You all have read my pleas for help. But I have to admit there are far too many of you suggesting the over-the-air antenna option.

It does not help me as I am not local.

Please reply with further suggestions with that in mind.

Thank you.

I finally decided to dump Directv after 15 years. Ever since they went to AT&T, their service has gotten worse and the prices just as bad. Just decided to go with Sling for now, but thinking about Fubo, but I think it is more expensive. Maybe even PSVue. Suggestions?

Now in order to watch the few Cowboys games that are not nationally televised, has anyone had any experience with the stand-alone Sunday Ticket--via say, Amazon Firestick?
I've had both psvue and sling. PSvue has the superior user interface, but it's pricey. Sling is much cheaper and serviceable. I think both offer free trial periods, which I suggest you take advantage of.

As for watching sporting events, my go to is Reddit. Just make sure you get a decent VPN service. They're not very pricey.

I've been preaching for almost a decade:

VPN + NFL Game Pass International. $179 a year for everything NFL and it's all LIVE w/no blackouts. Plus condensed games, coaches' film, archived seasons/SBs, combine, draft, specials, etc. It'll set you free..

i see. so the vpn allows u to use any option due to lack of ip address...

There is one thing I have noticed with using Sling for streaming live games is that there is a lag, sometimes a significant one. This Reddit thing seem on point or am I just going to have to get used to streaming lag?

Luckily I get all their home games and most Cowboys games are broadcast. I'm only out 3-4 games a year. I found a handy app I use. I cast the image onto my TV. I will pay for sling when the regular season start for NFL Network and ESPN, that's about it for me.

Legal, to me, is funny business.
Interests bought and forced upon by... things.

No reason to get into details, but I firmly believe in living within the co-op of humanity over the spoon-fed hierarchy.

Socialist! :)

to me they ripped off SOA minus the MCs and another who is coming called the Mayans dudes look straight up like the SOA Mayan MCs..

I dont like shows that copy other shows...I could be wrong but caught a few episodes and just didnt feel original..
I love Direct TV but I have a Sports Cave with 5 TV’s including 3 with Genies and two other rooms with own receiver. It’s only an additional $7 a month for each receiver. But I also use amplified antennas for additional 2 TV’s in Cave as well as one outside on the patio broadcasting games on local networks.

And thru my AT&T service can use Direct TV anywhere on my laptop, tablet and IPhone without using Data.

Watching sports is top priority in my past time besides playing golf. I spare no expense for my sports entertainment. With my devices I’m able to watch up to 8 different games at once in my Cave.
Jealous. Good for you bro. One day I will have that. With my Harley sitting in the room.

Just do this. You'll get 13 of the 16 cowboys games. Only 3 you probably won't get is the dolphin/lions matchup and possibly week 17 against the deadskins (just use Reddit or go to a local place to watch it).

Obsolete by now.
I had plans at one time how to make your own 10 foot dish using chicken wire. All you really need, supposedly was the right electronics.

I think it it was in popular mechanics magazine
My parents had one for years and got rid of it when the smaller dishes came out. It was a big mistake. If they still have that type of service I would do it in a second. You got EVERYTHING. You just needed to learn which channels were on which satellites.

Sorry if someone mentioned this, I use Seasons4u, they offer NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA AND UFC. I want to say I paid 110 for a year, it's a streaming service.

I've seen SOA in its entirety twice and don't think they're anything alike. Well, other than white dudes who break the law and occasionally shoot people, but that's about half of TV at the moment.

I've also seen Mayans and its about as derivative as possible.

Do you watch Peaky Blinders, because that has far more of a SOA vibe to me.

If you don't like shows that copy other shows, you must not watch much TV, because it's almost all derivative now. What do you like that's completely original?

Also, if you use streams from Reddit (or anywhere really), you can pick up a Chrome cast for cheap and cast them to your big screen with a Chrome extension.

You can't know the numbers. These numbers are not public information.

You also don't know how re transmission contracts work. Networks can offer reduced rates for a few years to help a streaming startup get off the ground because they know if they are successful they will have another revenue source in the future with rate hikes.

You don't have to believe me.

It's more complicated and more expensive than you think. A cable company was recently helping customer cut the cord recently for a reason.
Go to the site the satellite guys. These guys know everything. They had the numbers for the new service on their site. Everything except what the cia doesn't allow to be public info can generally be found. There was an article speaking on the numbers of direct tv. Was it exact, idk, but it couldn't be far off. Do I believe your view of att? Heck no, my bill jumped immediately 30/ month as soon as they took over. Save the poor att crap, if it was t profitable, att wouldn't have bought direct tv.

I’m right behind you out the door. After over 20 years.

Done with cable tv...long ago.
Noticed the kids never watched anymore...only YouTube, Netflix, or amazon...
I stopped watching long ago as everything on it insulted my intelligence or morals...
Once the kids outgrew Disney jr and started with streaming....plug got pulled.
