Back it up, Zeke.

You wanted the target, now you have it. There are no excuses for you not being at the top of every major statistical category for TBs for the next 4-5 years.

And before any of you Zeke dolts want to scream anti-Zeke here, I'd say this about any TB we had that just signed a massive deal. I think TBs are a fungible commodity in the NFL so if we are paying one a freaking crap ton of money for the next 4-5 years, then that TB better be the best damn TB in the NFL, without question, over that period.
how many other tb's are out there that are anywhere near as good as zeke. fungible is good for canned goods but not for star rb's.

And for the love of God, find your burst again. We don't need a pure power runner out there. I miss that breakaway speed.

Neither is maintaining star runningback talent past the age of 25 for most NFL players.

I was worried about the cap and was pretty upset with the holdout. This said, I do think he's the best overall RB. I read somewhere on this board that he's an above average blocker. That's BS. He's outstanding on picking up blintzes. He's the impetus of our offense, no doubt about it!

It's a done deal, he's signed. Zeke and Pollard should be tearing it up this year. No Excuses.
if Kellen moore can effectively use both zeke and pollard simultaneously, he will create mismatches for any defense.

Some of you guys are over the top... Yea I wanna see Dallas without Dak, Zeke, Coop...

Because I like losing so I can be right in my dislike for a player.o_O

Nah, it just goes both ways. Zeke may be the straw that stirs the drink but Dak and Coop are the drink and he can't stir anything if the drink is gone.

Fungible in that you see teams win and win a lot without tying up a crap ton of resources and cap space into the TB position.

No, there aren't that many guys as good as Zeke as a TB. But IMO, you don't actually need a TB as good as Zeke (or even paid nearly as much) to have a good running game in today's NFL.

I have been of the opinion for several years that the missing ingredient to the big dance is our head coach.

Well that's a different discussion.

But IMO, when you invest like we have in the OL, doubling down and spending a crap ton of money on a TB is a waste of cap resources. If your OL is that good that four of the starting 5 are all in the Top 3 of contracts for that particular position, then they should be good enough on their own to get you a very good running game.

The emoji I want to aim at Zeke isn't on the forum and wouldn't be allowed if it were. :laugh:He'd best lead in every possible statistic....oh wait...he led the league's RBs in fumbles last year I forgot.
