If Moore continues this, what happens

Takes more than just play calling to be a HC. He needs leadership, he needs to have the balls to handle big egos, players and assist coaches included. He needs to command respect from referees, etc. There are a lot of great coordinators that do not have what it takes to be a HC. Plus, with the loaded roster we have, many won't give him the credit he may deserve.
What the hell would you know about that?! :D

if moore's schemes and playcalling are successful, when will other teams try to poach him?
everybody wants their own mcvay
he would be one hot commodity as in the case of kingsbury.
IMO, the fix is already in.

Without publicly anointing him a “head coach in waiting”, as he did previously with Jason Garrett, Jerry Jones has likely already earmarked Kellen Moore as JG’s eventual successor.

If(?) that’s the case, Moore, who’s already piloting the offense here, is not likely to jump ship anytime soon.

Do you see what's happening. We're using the passing game to open up the running game. How dangerous will that make us. That's the best thing that can come out of this

Jerry is probably already promising Moore the HC job sometime in the near future.

I seriously doubt that. Moore has had one good game against a bad defense, and like Viman96 stated, it’s hard to believe anyone would offer a HC job to someone with 2 years experience (Moore can maybe thank Garrett for that), though there are teams looking for their own version on Sean McVay (see the Cardinals), but even McVay was an assistant coach for eight years before he got his first shot.

Damn we are in an awful hurry to worry about things aren't we?

It’s like they have only been a fan of this team for two years or something. I have been a fan for more than 20 years. I have seen this movie before. Linehan was one of the best OCs ever in 2016 wasn't he?

Garrett's contract is up after this season.

They'll either dump Garrett or move Garrett to a front office job as Director of Coaching if they can't just keep Moore as OC by paying him more.

Being the head coach of the Cowboys is the crown jewel of sports jobs. If Kellen continues dialing up masterpiece like he did yesterday, the job would be his eventually and he would stay.

No one is going to take him off 1 year as an OC. No one. Doesn’t matter what he does. People seem to forget McVey started coaching in 2010 and was an OC for 3 years.

I doubt if anyone would poach him after 2 years in the NFL. way way way too early.

also, we played against one of the worst defenses from last year who lost their best player.....lets put the anointing oil away for a few weeks.

Agree but Garrett only 3 before the Ravens offered him a HC job.

Cleveland Browns, "Hold my beer. Fredddie you are now the offensive coordinator."
8 months later, "Freddie, you did such a great job as coordinator you are now the Head Coach!"
