wait, I thought Romo sucked and Dak was the king....now it was all Romo.

btw, Bilicheck has never won anything without Brady. Peyton has only had success with Brees. Carroll has only had success with Russell who saves his arse over and over again. show me one coach who didn't do it with good QB play.

What does didn’t do it mean?

Btw I’m a huge Romo fan.

Yeah I know... Youre right.. I’m sure Garrett will be in high demand as a playcaller once he leaves Dallas. Who wouldn’t want that great playcalling he provided.

Don't get mad bro, you were just wrong. You had no idea his offense produced ....lol

Anyone who seriously believes that Garrett deserves blame for “icing the kicker” is a football idiot.

Results speak for itself. The kicker missed it.

Your the idiot turning a blind eye on Garrett's mishaps.

Yeah.. I thought all those monster games Romo was having just didn’t add up to anything.. What was I thinking. Garrett’s great.

The problem you point out is that Garrett is stubborn and never wants to change things up. Sure he created a good culture in Dallas. But that is not enough to take this team to the next level.

If he was such a big success why haven't we seen it? Why is it that once they canned Linehan (which was hired by Garrett) canned for someone like Moore for the playcalling?

Garrett should be canned. He was one of the main reasons why we went 1-7 that year when he took over. His butt should have been canned also.

And if he was such as success, why is it that they are dumping his playbook and his conservative playcalling philosophy out the door?

The Cowboys are successful not because of Garrett. They are successful in spite of Garrett.

Again bs.

Offense 7th in scoring with the head coach defense 31th. What more should he done. Your narrative is false. The numbers don't lie.

The false narrative is the numbers you speak of. Being rank number 7 offensively doesn't mean anything.

The most important facts is that that the Cowboys were 1-7. That includes Garrett's offense. If he has such a great offense why was didn't it show up in the win column?

Garrett let Romo run the offense. Like Garrett was some offensive guru who knows how to dial-up and offensive scheme. He Romo mentioned that is not how Garrett coaches.

I don't know why you have this fascination of thinking is some offensive guru who knows how to call plays. His playbook is from the 90s.

Romo ran the offense. Garrett got credit for it.

Normally when we spike the ball as a fanbase it turns on us.

So I figured we'd wait at least 3-4 games before anointing Garrett.

He inherited a prime Romo, Ware, Witten, Dez, and Lee....people who say say he had no talent dont know what the hell they are talking about. I expect that from you tho. Look at the rosters the Seahawks and Panthers coaches inherited if you wanna see a real rebuild.

Don’t waste your breath
You can’t reason with Garrett apologists

7th in scoring means your offense was fine when your defense was 31th in giving up points . Not hard to figure out genuis.

Sure the defense sucked. But that doesn't mean just because the offense is ranked 7th the offense is fine. It means that the team is losing and everyone on the team deserves blame - including Garrett.

That 7th rank offense means nothing when the team is 1 and 7.

He’s been here over 10 years. Time / Romo changed the culture more then he did and it’s still a country club make no mistake.

Lol..Romo changed the culture :lmao2:

He was never a leader of the team, that was well documented...lol

Your the one thats whacked dude. Please get your nose out of Garretts behind. If you don't think he was part of the culture that got the team to 1 and 7 in 2010 then you need to get your head checked.

So you are counting 3 consecutive 8-8 seasons as something to brag about? Nice play on words, but that doesn't work with knowledgeable fans.

in your vast knowledge or rather ignorance, just who do you imagine would have done better a better job? and why?

does your vast knowledge suggest to you there is someone who could persuade JJ to hand over the reigns and not interfere?

I bet you think you're the best choice too

Look, we can all reasonably argue Garrett has grown and improved significantly, and his story is still being written. But, clearly, if your goal was maximizing the prime years of Romo, Ware, Witten, etc., he was not the right hire at the time.

What's the point? Yeah defense sucked. That's on Wade. Garrett still could have won those games and outscore the opponent. Just because he had the 7th rank offense doesn't mean squat.

Garrett wasn't already proclaimed head coach by Jerry then as well. Tearing the team apart. Rather than try and fix the issues Garrett was part of the problem.
