Anyone concerned on if Adrian Peterson gets the start?

Completely agree... The linebackers are a problem too. Their positioning has been terrible.

They are great players but they've been part of the problem.
This doesn't get enough attention. Neither is consistent in reading the run.

Peterson is not a threat as a receiver. Peterson was having a good camp and outplaying Guice. I am more concerned about some of the WRs against Cowboy DBs. Hopefully, the pass rush will show up.

The Skins OL did not dominate against Philly. Skins couldn't get their run game going against the Eagles. I expect the Skins will be pass happy this week too.

If the offense plays like they did last week, Peterson shouldn't be a factor at all. Get the lead and make them one dimensional.

I don't think they played well in week 1 but still believe this defense will be very good.
People need to stop overreacting to our defensive performance against the Giants. We played straight up betting the Giants would make mistakes. Worked perfectly. We kept them under 20 points and forced two turnovers. The offense is loaded this year especially with a healthy offensive line. We should score more the 25 game. If we do that we will be 12-4.

I agree. I have heard some comments by defensive players who were not happy with how the unit played and felt they did not play up to their standards. Offense did great and because they put NY in a deep hole that had a lot to do with NY not running the ball as much. Myself I expect more out of this defense, in my opinion they have the talent to be a top defense. As I also mentioned I'm not one to over react or panic. I expect better showing from the defense as they move forward

I think the defense play calls are determined by the competition. The Commanders will probably have lots of yards but not many big plays. Same for the Dolphins but both teams will turn the ball over trying to keep up with our offense. We will see the defenses real impact against the Saints and Packers.

I disagree. I think Dallas wants guys attacking on defense no matter who they play. They want DL to penetrate into the backfield and disrupt the offense be it run or pass.

Between the LA playoff game and last Sunday, we've given up over 330 yards on the ground.....so YES
True, but those two teams had Todd Gurley and Shaq Barkley. Throw in C.J. Anderson.

Not concerned about AP. But I am concerned about our defense getting it in gear for game 2.

I take comfort in the fact that the Commanders line doesn't look very good and that they couldn't get any sort of run game going at all against the Eagles. Hopefully, our run defense looks better playing against lesser competition.

All I know if Cowboys better be ready to play run defense and pass defense. This Commanders home opener with Cowboys coming to town, skins will be jacked up and Cowboys better be ready to match that intensity. I'm not trying to make Skins into a SB champ but this is not a game the Cowboys can sleep on.

Anyone concerned about AP getting the start this Sunday over an injured Guice? Or is this in our favor?

We are talking Barkley vs an old AP here. I'll give the defense a pass on that one. We will shut AP old *** down.

Not worried one bit.

Only a little because I think the Cowboys releasing Morris was to swap for AP. However, Gurden as he said will not run out of the I formation 55 times per game. So the Cowboys bad run defense against the Giants and last year against the Rams is safe.

I agree. I would hate to see them take anyone lightly. In watching their prior game against the Eagles, it looked early on like Philadelphia did just that. The Eagles seemed to think that they could just show up and get a 'W' and found out pretty quickly that the Commanders had come to play. That's a mistake I do not wish to repeat. But having said that, once the Eagles 'woke up' in the second half, it was all over. I only hope that the Cowboys start the game the way the Eagles finished it. If that happens, I think our overall talent level trumps theirs.
