Good chance. Career earnings at 93.8mil. Years as a pro bowler. It's not like he should be in dire straits. Plenty of ** money. Simply on pride/principle, he could sit out the season.

He should just get the foot fixed, if possible, and come back next year with a clean bill of health. He could also just sneak onto a team at the end of the year to try to get a ring. I'd be fine with it.
