Bottom line is Dak had a talent-starved Miss. State team ranked number one in the country for a while playing in the SEC. And he's 33-16 so far in the NFL.

Yeah, you can say that Prescott guy can play a little football.

Well... that team had Preston Smith, Benardrick McKinney, and Chiefs' sack leader Chris Jones. So they had some talent, but it was ENTIRELY on the defensive line and linebackers. I'm guessing they needed more talent on the other positions not just the front 7 to win a national championship, but they still nearly beat Bama. They would've gone to the playoffs but they lost that close one to Bama that year. (if I remember correctly)

But yeah... Fletcher Cox was already in the NFL and Dak still led that team to new heights. They wouldn't get anywhere near #1 in the country without Dak.

How many does Tebow have at UF?
As a rookie, Prescott started all 16 games with 3,667 passing yards, 282 rushing yards, 29 total touchdowns, and only four interceptions, and his 67.8% completion percentage ranked No. 4 among NFL quarterbacks in 2016.

Prescott set several rookie quarterback records and was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, and also earned a Pro Bowl selection.

Dak IS good! A great college QB and an increasingly good NFL starter as well
:flagwave:

Just some trivia though.....name one QB other than Dak that ever came out of Miss State.

There are none that translated to the NFL level
Not one

In other words, any of 100s QBs could have all the Miss State records

I bet East Carlolina has 3-4 better than any that ever played there
Certainly Jeff Blake and David Garrard for starters

 Miserable folks just have to be miserable. Negative. Pessimist, i.e. you don't want to be around them.

I've been on the Dak train since pre season of his rookie year. He is my favorite player far and away, I'm a HUGE believer in that kid, we're very lucky to have him.
We are not supposed to pull up really old threads, but I do remember many saying take any QB but Dak. Not going to call out the converted/new Dak fans.

Hint... I am one of them.

I want success for the team. Always liked Dak the guy. Was not sure he was a good enough passer in a passing league.
