Absolutely. Pam Oliver said Garrett liked our 50/50 split of running and pass plays at the half. Even though we were awful for half that half. Last week JG at the break said we need to run more, but we kept passing and dismantled the Giants.

Garrett will hold this team back with what how he thinks a team should operate (early 90s dynasty teams)
So you are going to base your whole conspiracy theory on what the Coach says in a interview going into halftime?

He had 1 playoff berth in his first 4.5 years as HC, & got a 5 year extension .

What do you think ?
I think that was years ago and you are living in the past. I also think Jerry isn’t as stupid as you think. It’s his ego that gets in his way, but he isn’t stupid.

That's right folks - Jason has this team rolling on all cylinders coming out of the gate. Say what you want about him but players seem to really enjoy playing for him, he's involved in personnel decisions and has helped build this team, he seems to really have the respect of all of the players on the team, and they stay out of trouble for the most part. Also, I'm sure he had a big say-so in the Kellen Moore, Kris Richardson, and John Kitna hires.

It's time we give him a little credit!

No he had no credit for this game other than not having prepared to start the game. This is something that he is consistently good...perhaps the best at?

The assistant coaches have the team rolling and now we see how a creative mind can use the talent. Without that creativity you squander talent as has the RHG when he had any control.

So Jason deserves no credit. Where the hell are these jokers coming from?

Pretty much. It's his own words. We were up big on the Giants, but all he wanted to say was we need to run more .... Which is what we did last year when up and scored only 7 points in the 3rd quarter all season, or some stupid low number like that. Kellen went for the throat rather than make obvious run plays that get stuffed and giving them a chance to make it close

Let’s see: built a contending team. Wins more games than other NFC coaches over a period that spans four seasons. Did it with more than one starting QB. Did it while working for Jerry Jones. Yeah. I’d say it’s maybe time people start admitting they were wrong to think this guy would never get this team over .500 like we heard pretty much every day for three and a half years.

Somebody PM me when that starts happening, though. I’m not holding my breath. My money is on the mob continuing to credit Will MClay and the first year OC they were all blaming Garrett for hiring as a QB coach last season and for keeping as a backup QB for Dak the season before that.
Now, if you're going to bring facts into the matter...

Was it JG idea today to use way less motion and go back to last year play calls.
Save it for our first loss. Then you can say JG would not let Moore call the plays he wanted and we can all blame him for losing.

Never heard the words "Coach Speak"?

Like the President would announce his military plans on National TV?

The further he gets from having to make playcalls and decisions? The better things work. If he deserves 'credit' for that? Sure. Credit for staying out of the way Jason!
So no credit for making Moore the OC?

Thing is, unless this team has an insanely successful season, I'm ready to move on. I think Garrett has some good tangibles for possibly working in the FO, but it is pretty obvious at this point he isn't the long term answer as head coach. It has been long term and we have a whopping, what, 2 playoff wins?

Question remains if we continue to have success on the offense and Moore starts getting head coaching positions, would JJ stick with JG? I think JJ is smart enough to know the reason behind the change regardless of what he says on the radio show.

Garrett sucks..

Held us back and wasted careers for a decade.

Kellen Moore is so good it’s gonna save Garrett his job.

Yeah, Garrett gets no credit from me. He was fine with Linehan all those years because he was consistent, predictable. Garrett is a good guy, likable, but his weakness is his conservative nature and that has hurt us in the past few years

I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to temper Moore's aggressiveness as a playcaller.
