I’m only being somewhat sarcastic. As most of you know, I don’t value the RB position and I certainly don’t value Zeke (I literally just deleted an entire paragraph so we don’t get derailed) but there was plenty of support for Zeke sitting out and some even encouraging it because they thought he wasn't getting paid enough. Why not Dak? He’s clearly worth it, that’s not even debatable at this point, and he could get injured against Miami. I’m not even being sarcastic here, Zeke was rewarded and he’s arguably much less important to the team so why shouldn’t Dak sit and if he did would you support him?

I would! And after so many people supported poor Zeke I can’t help but think Dak should get his too, he’s done everything right and continues to prove his critics wrong every week.

Dak should have been on the first plane to Cabo after Zeke's holdout worked, but I'm glad he didn't put the team in the position of starting Cooper Rush in week 1.

Do you want to give a team that I believe is not all in this season reason to go all out? Sit your starting quarterback because you think your opponent stinks and they will wake right up. Bums or not, you'll get maximum effort from them.

You're right that Dak is more important. Especially the way he's playing now. But don't think Zeke doesn't help him in the backfield. No one's giving a second thought to Pollard back there. Play action might have 0 effect. With the Cowboys attacking the entire field now, and I can't believe I'm saying that, Zeke poses a real problem.

Dak contract will be taken care of and as leader of this team Dak will continue to play as his agent will handle the contract.

Dak told the media just yesterday that he doesn't think he should be the highest paid QB because he hasn't won anything yet to earn it. He would rather see team accomplishments first, or something like that.

It just goes to show you the character of the QB vs. the RB. One apparently has team first in mind while the other is a greedy, selfish turd.

Sitting out of preseason for a rb is completely different than a qb missing real games. If dak danted to be in a hurry for a new deal it would be done by now.

What makes OP suggestion even worst is Dak's never missed a game. Obviously one of the game's more durable QBs.

He's right, ya know?
Yeah, he is. It shows what a stand up guy Dak is but he is grossly underpaid. Absent a new deal, he would have made just over $4 million total for 4 years. Regardless of one's personal opinion of Dak and whether you think Dallas should pay him or not, Dak's value has always been significantly higher than $1 million per year average. Dak would have a ton of leverage to get his deal done quickly.
